Arsenal, Liverpool And Barcelona Fight For The €60 Million Rated Player

MARCA, a Spanish news organisation, claims that Barcelona isn’t the only major team interested in signing Joshua Kimmich this summer. Arsenal and Liverpool are competing with Bayern Munich for the midfielder’s services. The Bundesliga champions have established a minimum asking price of €60 million to sell their star player.

In his eight seasons at Bayern Munich, Joshua Kimmich has been nothing short of spectacular. The 28-year-old was a promising young player when he signed for Bayern Munich in July 2015 from VfB Stuttgart. And he has worked his way up from right back to become one of the top midfielders in the Bundesliga.

The German player has been an integral part of his team for many years. In over 350 career games, he has contributed 40 goals and 94 assists for Bayern Munich. However, with Barcelona, Arsenal, and Liverpool all showing interest in him, Kimmich’s future at the Bundesliga club appears cloudy at best. And it’s possible that Bayern will want €60 million or more to let him go.

According to reports, Barcelona is not the only team interested in acquiring Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich. Arsenal and Liverpool have also entered the bidding

In the next summer transfer window, Barcelona will be actively searching for a new holding midfielder. That’s because, at the conclusion of this season, Sergio Busquets will leave Spotify Camp Nou. And now Barcelona has a real shot at signing Kimmich. However, it’s possible that the Blaugrana can’t afford the 28-year-old. There may be room for a partial trade.

Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka will leave Arsenal during the next summer transfer window. The Swiss midfielder is looking to shake things up. Therefore, he’ll probably end up back in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen. And signing Kimmich would be a smart move on Arsenal’s part.

The Gunners and Liverpool, in contrast to Barcelona, should be able to afford the €60 million required to sign Kimmich

James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all leaving Liverpool as free agents. The Merseyside Club will miss them. Moreover, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have been quite inconsistent this year. Therefore, Liverpool should make an investment in a world-class midfielder, and Kimmich fits the bill. Arsenal and Liverpool, in contrast to Barcelona, should be able to afford the €60 million required to sign Kimmich. However, €60 million seems excessive for a German midfielder of his calibre. Where the 28-year-old plays next season is something to look forward to.

Tottenham Hotspur has shown interest in signing Clement Lenglet permanently. The 27-year-old Barcelona defender is on loan at Tottenham and has made a good impression. They would want to retain him at the club and are actively working to do so.

Lenglet first played for Barcelona in the 2018 summer. The French international player spent four years with the Catalan club. The 27-year-old had his fair share of opportunities. However, he was unable to establish himself as a starter. And he is now playing for Tottenham on loan. Lenglet has played more than 2,500 minutes for the Spurs in 33 appearances. He has also helped the team out by scoring once and setting up two others.
