Mikel Arteta is well aware of the value of a spare forward on the team. And Thuram’s adaptability will give him more choices in the starting lineup. But Arsenal’s rival in north London, Antonio Conte’s team also wants to sign the youngster.
Even with stars like Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, and Richarlison, Tottenham is looking to strengthen its roster. Thuram was outstanding for his team as they won the 2022 World Cup in normal time because of his contributions. According to rumours, Inter Milan is also a potential suitor. However, the lure of the Premier League may be too much to resist.
What’s next?
A report from 90min claims that Inter is planning a contract offer to bring France international Marcus Thuram to Serie A in 2023.
Thuram has notified Borussia Monchengladbach that he will not be re-signing when his current contract ends at the end of the current season.
Even though Inter would like to buy Thuram than let his contract go, Gladbach is asking too much of a transfer fee. When Gladbach’s contract with star midfielder Denis Zakaria was about to end in January 2022, the club decided to move him instead.
