Mykhailo Mudryk, a 22-year-old winger, was signed by Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk just six months ago. However, the club is considering letting him go
Fichajes claims that Chelsea is considering trading Mykhaylo Mudryk. The 22-year-old’s high-priced move to the Blues has not resulted in the expected amount of playing time. And he may be leaving the English club as soon as six months after signing with them.
At Shakhtar Donetsk, Mudryk rose through the ranks to become a key member of the first squad. In the chilly months of 2021, he was promoted to their A team. The Ukrainian international played in 44 games for the team and contributed 29 goals.
Even though they may have spent a lot of money on him, they are already considering selling him
After seeing him play for Shakhtar, several European teams made offers. In addition, there was fierce competition for his services at the beginning of the year. Chelsea paid €70 million to get their hands on him.
The 22-year-old made a huge financial commitment to join the Blues. Despite this, he has not yet found a comfortable place, either on or off the field. In 15 games, the Ukrainian international has contributed twice with an assist.
He was not Chelsea’s first pick, despite the massive transfer fee. Since Mudryk has been a member of the Blues, he has only once played the full 90 minutes. The team is clearly planning for his future.
Even though they may have spent a lot of money on him, they are already considering selling him. Six months after he joined them, they could let him go if the price is right. There is demand for his skills. However, they won’t part with him until they can recoup at least some of their investment.
Meanwhile, they’re thinking about loaning him out so he can get more playing time somewhere. Furthermore, Arsenal is eager to add Mudryk to their roster. Back in January, he was a potential target for the Gunners. But against Chelsea, they came up short. Now that Chelsea are considering moving on from the 22-year-old, Arsenal may make another go at signing him.

Mikel Arteta is eager to add players to his roster in preparation for the next season. The Spanish manager is looking to bolster his squad’s offensive capabilities in order to better compete in the Premier League and Champions League. Furthermore, Mudryk may be an asset to their mission.
New Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino will have to make some tough choices early on, including whether to prioritize Raheem Sterling or Mykhaylo Mudryk for the club’s long-term success.
Both players were part of a record-breaking £600 million+ shopping spree this season. However, neither has lived up to their astronomical salaries. Last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest saw Sterling score twice, both coming on the left flank, as he has been showing some of his finest form of late.
