Edu Gaspar Pushing Arsenal To Sign Their €80 Million Transfer Target – Check Out The Details

Edu Gaspar Pushing Arsenal To Sign Their €80 Million Transfer Target - CHECK OUT THE DETAILS

To prepare for the next season, Arsenal reportedly wants to sign Raphinha. The 26-year-old striker hasn’t completely ruled out leaving Barcelona. Meanwhile, Edu Gaspar, sports director at Arsenal, is actively courting the Brazilian international.

While playing for Leeds United in the Premier League, Raphinha first gained widespread attention. The 26-year-old has interest from many major teams. However, Barcelona was successful in their pursuit of his signing and signed him before the current season began.

He got off to a poor start, but he’s really hit the throttle in recent weeks. Xavi has relied on the Brazilian international as a starter for the previous several games. And this season, he has unquestionably delivered. Raphinha has played in 45 games, with 21 goals and assists to his name. He has scored 10 goals and contributed to another 11 for his team.

The Catalan giants were always the team the 26-year-old wanted to play for. He hopes to remain at the club for the foreseeable future. However, his prospects are cloudy at best. Because of Ousmane Dembele’s injury, the Brazilian got more playing time than he had before.

Raphinha, though, will be relegated to the bench while Dembele’s fitness returns in time for the next season. Even if they do re-sign Lionel Messi, he may see a significant decrease in playing time. The 26-year-old could leave Barcelona for sporting reasons. The club, though, would only let him depart for a price of between €70 and €80 million.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is one of the teams that want to sign him. Edu Gaspar is a huge admirer of the player. He will do everything to get him to the club. They are returning to the Champions League next season. He thinks the Brazilian can help them go to the next level.

Edu Gaspar, the sports director at Arsenal, is interested in acquiring the services of 26-year-old Barcelona striker Raphinha for the next season

The Gunners had an initial interest in him back in the day. They want to revisit the subject this summer. Gaspar has reached out to Raphinha’s representative, Deco, in an effort to sign the player to the club. It will be intriguing to see whether Arsenal is successful in their pursuit of the Brazil international.

If Mikel Arteta’s squad can force a Premier League championship decider on the last day of the season, Arsenal plans to invite Arsene Wenger to their season finale. The Gunners had been the division’s top team for the better part of the season. But they have lost their crown during their four-game streak. Instead, Manchester City has climbed to first place and now leads the league by a single point with a game in hand.

Arsenal has to win three of their last four games to reclaim the top spot, beginning with Sunday’s trip to Newcastle. The Gunners are preparing for a final-day battle with City despite their dwindling ambitions of winning the league for the first time in 19 years.
