Chelsea, Manchester United And Tottenham Fans Delighted Jose Mourinho Isn’t Returning To The Premier League After Seeing Shocking Stat

Tottenham

Jose Mourinho guided AS Roma to the Europa League final just recently. And after winning their first-ever European Cup last season (UECL), this is just another great feat for the Portuguese boss. A manager who has been known as THE SPECIAL ONE from his Porto days, just really lives up to that name, even now!!

However, there is one thing that not all fans enjoyed in Roma’s success. And looking at the numbers, some Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs fans even were glad that Jose Mourinho wasn’t in West London anymore.

What Was The Real Reason Why Premier League Fans Were Delighted That Jose Mourinho Wasn’t In The EPL Anymore!?

When Chelsea got Frank Lampard onboard the first time, or opted to go with Graham Potter, post the Tuchel era, the idea was to have an attacking manager. Someone, who could deliver good and creative football. And improve from the Tuchel’s style and pick up a notch.

Not saying that Tuchel’s playing style was boring, but the new Chelsea hierarchy surely felt that they could do better. And so, they tried and failed!! But the fans knew that they had tried something positive. And though not all of them were onboard with it, they gave the owner, Todd Boehly, the benefit of the doubt!!

However, one thing all football fans, especially Chelsea fans will agree to. Though it was a Mourinho-masterclass for the Romans to reach the final, this stat makes a lot of the Blues’ faithful actually wonder, whether this type of football at the Bridge, would not be worth it!?

Already, Mourinho failed miserably at Spurs. This was a club that had one of the best attacking trios in the top flight of English football. Further, Chelsea are struggling way more than Tottenham in that aspect right now. And are in a rebuilding phase. Would Mourinho do them any good? A lot of them believe, SURELY NOT!!

What Was The Overall Reaction Of The Rival Fans With Regards To This News And The Stat!?

Many of the rival fans, just like most Chelsea fans, feel that Mourinho still has got it. But, he is done with regards to the Premier League, as of now. Only a miraculous comeback could bring him back into the game. And that may not be happening anytime soon!!

For now, the former Real Madrid boss is focused on his job in Italy. If he wins the UEL final, Roma could be playing in the Champions League next season. This is what would be the focus of Jose Mourinho right now. And if he can make things happen, as he plans, nothing better!!

For now, AS Roma will be eagerly awaiting the Europa League final. They will be facing off against Sevilla, who are specialists in this tournament themselves. However, one fact that every Blues’ fan knows that, Jose Mourinho has never lost a European final. So, this will surely be a high-stakes treat between two teams going for the GOLD!!
