Arsenal Newsnow: Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal might make a move for Liverpool target and Juventus winger Federico Chiesa in the January transfer window, according to CM. According to a rumor in an Italian newspaper, both Arsenal and Liverpool are eager to get Chiesa from Juventus. Known for his “unbelievable” and “very unique” play, the Gunners might make a move for the £54,000-a-week (SalarySport) winger.
It has been reported by CM that the Italy international winger may be sold by Juventus owing to on- and off-field troubles. Juventus are previous Serie A and UEFA Champions League champions.
According to The Guardian, Juventus was docked 15 points for using “false accounting.” We believe that Arsenal should grab the opportunity to sign Federico Chiesa. After a lengthy layoff, the winger has made a full recovery. The Italian is not quite at his best just yet, but that will change.
Arsenal Newsnow: Will Federico Chiesa move to Arsenal?
And he’s just 25 years old! Before his injury, Chiesa shone for both Fiorentina and Juventus. He was instrumental in Italy’s triumph in the Euro 2020 finals. It’s true that Arsenal recently brought in Leandro Trossard, a Belgian international winger. But there’s always opportunity for improvement in the roster. Additionally, Chiesa is top-notch.
It’s possible that Arsenal will win the Premier League this year. They’ll establish themselves as perennial contenders for the UEFA Champions League in the years to follow. The best teams always have many outstanding players at each position. Arsenal need to aim for that. Arsenal are allegedly still there in terms of attempting to recruit Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The brilliant 21-year-old has been shining in the Premier League as of late. He would be a perfect fit for the Gunners. But it will be difficult to convince his present club to let him go. Romano claims that Brighton would want £70 million or more for Caicedo. It remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal would be willing to part with such a large sum of money.
What’s next for the Gunners?
After losing Leandro Trossard to the north London giants in January, one would only assume that Brighton would do everything to prevent losing two of their top players in the same transfer window. The Gunners have Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey in good form in midfield this season.
But there might be opportunity for a younger player like Caicedo to give additional depth and also a more long-term option in that part of the ground. As a team that also attempted to recruit the Ecuadorian international this winter, Romano thinks Chelsea is worth keeping an eye on with Caicedo.
