Arsenal Newsnow: After reaching an agreement on personal terms with the Brighton attacker Leandro Trossard, Arsenal hopes to finalize the transaction in the coming hours
Arsenal Newsnow: As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal has made an offer to sign Leandro Trossard from Brighton & Hove Albion. After recently missing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk, the 28-year-old Belgian international has become a desirable replacement.
It was not expected that Arsenal would go this long without making a transfer in January. They were positive and eager to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk at the beginning of the month. The Gunners spent a long time looking for the Ukrainian international player. At some point, Chelsea stole the winger away.
Arsenal and Arteta were disappointed by the winger’s choice since they needed a fresh wide offensive option to keep their title hopes alive. When Arsenal hasn’t gotten their desired player during a transfer window recently, they’ve quickly gone back out and tried to find another option.
Arsenal Newsnow: What’s the report?
The Gunners were considering a move for Moussa Diaby. The high asking price of the Bayer Leverkusen attacker may have discouraged potential suitors. As a result, Arsenal is actively seeking Leandro Trossard and is in early discussions with Brighton to complete a transfer shortly.

There were rumours that Trossard might join Tottenham. The verbal offer was quickly rejected by Brighton because they thought it was too low. Accordingly, Arsenal has made a swift overture. And according to Fabrizio Romano, the 28-year-old Belgian international already has a personal contract in place.
What’s next?
Brighton may end up asking for more than the estimated £20 million being discussed. The club was asked to facilitate a transfer for Trossard after he and manager Roberto De Zerbi had a falling out and the player’s agent requested it.
At Anfield, the 28-year-old Belgian international scored a hat trick and now has seven goals on the season. His skill set meshes well with Arteta’s. He has the versatility to contribute wherever throughout the front line. Trossard is still young for a professional player, but his age is beginning to become an issue.
