Arsenal Newsnow

Arsenal Newsnow: Jose Enrique has high hopes that Arsenal will sign Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine star Mykhailo Mudryk in January. He has heaped praise on Mikel Arteta for signing the “proper” players.

The former Liverpool left defender said that Mudryk is a “wonderful” player to have as Arsenal chases Premier League success this year.

The Gunners are now eight points ahead of the reigning champions, Manchester City, in England’s Premier League. The team has been looking for players like 22-year-old Mudryk ever since Gabriel Jesus suffered an injury during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

However, without the Brazilian international, the team at the Emirates feels a void in their scoring attack. In addition, Enrique predicted, “this is going to happen shortly,” when talkking about Mudryk’s planned trip to the city’s north.

Enrique said“I believe this is going to be done soon, this deal. He is a great player to have a chance to keep fighting for the Premier League. They are doing a great job with Arteta and spending the money on the right players. Well done to Arsenal.”

Arsenal Newsnow: MUDRYK HAS BEEN EMITTING SIGNAL AFTER SIGNAL

Mudryk’s absence, or Shakhtar Donetsk’s refusal to let him go, does not seem to be the problem. The transfer market has a lot of price tags. But the Ukrainian club is still able to collect the money they need for the player.

The athlete has given several indications that he is eager for this transfer, including the like of a tweet that used the hashtag #FreeMudryk. It’s still early in the window, but it wouldn’t be surprising if this deal continues for a while, in which case Mudryk may like or post a few more things.

What’s next?

According to CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs, Arsenal’s pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk will continue regardless of resistance from Chelsea. The Gunners want to improve on their current place in the Premier League table by making additions to their roster during the next January transfer window.

With Mikel Arteta’s team eight points ahead of second-place Manchester City, who play their game in hand tonight against Chelsea, Arsenal has never had a better opportunity to win the championship and become a powerhouse in English football once again.

The club has submitted an offer of “around €70m” for Mudryk, with Shakhtar asking for €100m, as they try to bolster their front line for the stretch run. The Blues have made two additions in the first five days of the transfer window, indicating their interest. But Jacobs claims that Mudryk prefers to join Arsenal over Graham Potter’s squad.

In a tweet, Jacobs said, “Arsenal have further direct negotiations arranged with Shakhtar on Mykhaylo Mudryk. Also, Shakhtar’s officials are visiting Stamford Bridge to speak with Chelsea. To put it simply, Mudryk is eager to join Arsenal.”
