Bennacer, at age 25, has been an integral part of the Rossoneri’s midfield for the previous three seasons. He was brought in from Empoli for a sum of £14 million in 2019. Since then, the club has won the Serie A championship with his assistance.

Bennacer, a hardworking operator famous for his flair and passing, has lately been rumoured to leave the San Siro. Since his contract will end in June 2024, he has become a potential transfer problem for Milan.

Will Arsenal get Ismael Bennacer?

Corriere dello Sport reports that Arsenal is among the teams interested in midfielder Bennacer. The Gunners could need some help in that position. The team Mikel Arteta now manages is willing to pay the estimated £44 million that is his release clause, which is only applicable to foreign teams.

Bennacer, who transferred to the Gunners from Arles in the summer of 2015 for £260,000, played in 32 games for the club’s youth squad. For them, he played in one game in the 2015–16 season, coming off the bench in the fourth round of the League Cup.

However, Milan is eager to improve their deal with the Algerian player. According to SOS Fanta, Enzo Raiola, the player’s agent, has already spoken with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, the directors of Milan.

Bennacer has appeared in 126 games for the Stefano Pioli-coached team, scoring four goals and assisting on eight more.

Emmanuel Petit recommends that the Gunners acquire two highly sought-after Premier League players

Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit recently spoke with Mega Casino, where he advocated for the team to acquire Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion.

In his own words“Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo are two players from Brighton that I really like. I said this about Mac Allister before he won the World Cup last year. Moreover, he is a midfielder who can do everything. He controls the pace and moves the ball. In terms of skill, he is good. He hits the goal.

Caicedo, the guy who sits next to him at Brighton, is great. If Arsenal could get both of these players, who know each other, they would be great additions to the team. They were willing to do anything.”

This season, the Premier League has seen breakout performances from Mac Allister and Caicedo. The Argentine has been the Seahawks’ top scorer with five goals in 14 Premier League games. But the Ecuadorian has been a steadying presence in the Seahawks’ midfield.
