Bayern Munich is keeping an eye on the Liverpool star Roberto Firmino as they consider their options for replacing Eric Maxim Chuopo-Moting in the next January transfer window

Liverpool News: If Eric Maxim Chuopo-Moting leaves Bayern Munich in January, as reported by Media Foot, the club may look to sign a new striker. With the 31-year-old star’s contract expiring in six months, Roberto Firmino is one of their top targets to replace the Cameroonian.

The biggest teams on the continent are showing interest in Roberto Firmino. Barcelona isn’t the only club interested in signing the 31-year-old great. Bayern Munich is reportedly in the running, too. The Brazilian’s summer contract expiration reflects the lingering doubts about his career path.

In the summer, Liverpool signed striker Darwin Nunez, who posed a challenge to his starting spot. Firmino has played a lot of minutes and contributed nine goals for the Reds in all competitions because of injuries to Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota.

That’s a solid sum, and Jurgen Klopp is still interested in keeping Firmino around for that reason. The Brazilian has been offered a new contract by Liverpool. If Eric Maxim Chuopo-Moting leaves Bayern Munich, the club may go to the transfer market in January for a new striker. The veteran forward’s name keeps coming up in connection with a transfer to Manchester United. They want to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with another star player.

If he leaves, Bayern hopes to steal Firmono away from Liverpool.
