For the January transfer window, Brazilian forward Tete is available to Arsenal, Tottenham, and Newcastle United
The January transfer window is open, and 90min reports that Arsenal, Tottenham, and Newcastle United have all been given the opportunity to buy Tete. The Brazilian striker is desired by another team. Shakhtar Donetsk is trying to sell him. He is 22 years old.
The great player from Shakhtar Donetsk joined Lyon and has been quite successful there. Tete had a productive season under the previous coach Peter Bosz, with five goals and three assists.
Will Tete move to Arsenal, Tottenham or Newcastle United?
Instead of keeping Bosz, Lyon hired Laurent Blanc, a former coach for France and Paris Saint-Germain. The new head coach has other ideas for the club’s future, and they don’t include Tete. He is prepared for the Brazilian attacker to go shortly and no longer counts on him.
While Shakhtar Donetsk is still Tete’s parent club, they would be interested in selling him to another team if the right offer came along. The Ukrainian club is open to another loan agreement that includes an option or obligation to purchase at the end of the season. There is added urgency to sell the Brazilian striker now since he still has six months remaining on his contract.
Tete has been courted by a number of Premier League teams ahead of the January transfer window. At the end of his current contract with Lyon, the Brazilian forward is available to join Arsenal, Tottenham, or Newcastle United.
West Ham United had shown interest in the Brazilian forward before. But their enthusiasm has now waned. Shakhtar is betting that one of Arsenal, Tottenham, or Newcastle United will acquire this great forward before the new year.
Spurs and the Gunners are interested in adding individuals who can provide great offensive depth. Their attention is needed elsewhere at the moment. Given the financial ramifications, signing Tete may be seen as a strategic move.
What’s next?
With a number of talented Brazilians already on the roster, he may be a useful addition for the north Londoners. It’s unclear whether Mikel Arteta or Antonio Conte think Tete will be a useful addition. He might be an excellent addition who aids in the success of Arsenal and Tottenham.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian striker is also being offered to Premier League club Newcastle United. The Magpies are still looking to add an adaptable scorer to their roster. Allan Saint-Maximin, the club’s current big star, strongly recommends that they acquire Marcus Thuram. Tete, though, may possibly be on Eddie Howe’s radar.
The Brazilian is a desirable candidate because of the financial benefits of the arrangement. Any team considering signing the attacker, though, will evaluate his contributions carefully.
