Latest Arsenal News: 3 Feasible Ways That Gunners Can Try To Sign Kylian Mbappe If They Want To

Mbappe

Latest Arsenal News: Arsenal were very close to signing Kylian Mbappe back in 2017. It was almost a deal done until it didn’t eventually happen. And that is something that Arsene Wenger and the Gooners across the globe would regret for life. However, there is now a chance for the Gunners to change that and bring him to the Emirates.

It was recently revealed that Mbappe wasn’t going to extend his contract with PSG. The Frenchman has a contract with the Ligue 1 champs that will expire at the end of the upcoming campaign. And with that being said, Paris Saint-Germain are now looking to sell him.

That is, if the player refuses to accept any new terms that are offered to him. Surely, there will still be a way that PSG can keep hold of him. But, it will be upto the player to decide that. And he would surely want to see which clubs offer him what deal!!

Latest Arsenal News: 3 Feasible Ways For Arsenal To Bring Kylian Mbappe To The Emirates!!

Arsenal has caught the attention of all top payers with the campaign that they have just had. Mikel Arteta and co. have really impressed one and all. And though they failed to win the League title, they could just be a few players away from doing that. With that being said, there is a chance that they might try to make an offer for Mbappe.

Whether it is good enough to convince the World Cup winner or not, is a different thing. But surely Arsenal would want to be in the conversation at least. And if the North London giants are serious about getting a deal done, then they have 3 options of doing so!!

3. Get Declan Rice, Forget Caicedo And Convince Granit Xhaka To Stay; Go For Mbappe With That £100m And Additional Cash

If Arsenal are serious about even having a chance of signing Mbappe, they have will have to forget about Caicedo. They can’t spend that £80m-£90m on Caicedo. It is what Brighton wants for their star. And this money can be used to bring the Frenchman to the Emirates instead.

Arsenal are already about to spend a little-bit over £100m for Declan Rice. And they were going to go after the Ecuadorian next. To add to that, the North London giants will have to retain the service of Granit Xhaka. The Swiss international will have to stay on longer, as Arsenal will not be able to sign another midfielder then.

If these things happen, then Arsenal can at least try to be in the conversation for Mbappe. The latest Arsenal news confirmed that the Rice deal seems all but done. But, there is no guarantee of Caicedo joining anyways, with Chelsea quite desperate for the player.

2. Offer Gabriel Jesus In Exchange For Mbappe Plus Cash; With The Caicedo Money; Xhaka Stays Or Sign Free-Agents Like Gundagon Or Bernardo Silva For The Midfield

If Arsenal wants to sign Mbappe, there is no way Caicedo can join the club. Also, PSG might want a player in exchange for their talisman leaving. So, Gabriel Jesus could be the one that can be offered. A striker for a striker (at least one that has value), with Eddie Nketiah as the back.

If Arsenal want to behave like a big club, then we need some big signings. And there can be none other than Mbappe to compete with Haaland and co. We can try to sign a few free agents for the midfield, instead of Caicedo, along with Declan Rice. That is, if Xhaka doesn’t agree to extend.

Also, Mbappe joining Arsenal would be huge for the brand value as well. The T-shirt sales and merchandise from stores would go like it’s a daily consumable. Mbappe could be the talisman for the club, with Martinelli on one side and Saka on the other. Just imagine!!

I know it’s easier said than done. But, if Arsenal wants to establish themselves as one of the top clubs in the Champions League, this needs to surely happen!! Let’s wait and watch!!

1. Swap Deal For Either Martinelli (If PSG Asks) Or Trossard+Tierney And Cash; No Caicedo Deal

It seems inevitable that if PSG let Mbappe go, they will want a player or two in exchange. They are in need of more quality players and might ask for Martinelli. If that is the case, then Arsenal can possibly consider the switch.

If the Gunners don’t want to leave the Brazilian leave, a counter-offer can be made. Trossard and Tierney can be offloaded if the need does arise. The duo can be replaced with alternatives off the bench or some of the academy players can be pushed up the ranks. It’s easier said than done. But, it can happen.

Again, the Caicedo deal wouldn’t be happening. So, either Xhaka or some reinforcements would be the need of the day for the midfield. At the end of the day, there is no guarantee that Arsenal will get all their targets. But the intent needs to be there.

And honestly, if PSG want Martinelli, the answer would definitely be a NO!! But, if they can take some of the players that are surplus to our needs and cash, then a deal can surely be done. Let’s wait and watch the latest Arsenal news for more updates!!
