Pep Guardiola Has Plans Post His Treble Win; Here’s What His Next Goal Is!! (Not Invincibles)

Manchester City

Manchester City won the treble this season by beating Inter in the final of the Champions League. Pep Guardiola finally got the one trophy that he had not been able to win. And with that, he has won it all with Manchester City, apart from the Club World Cup that might be next on his wish-list.

But, in a recent interview, the Spaniard revealed what his next goal actually would be. And it is neither that Cup, nor the Invincibles. The Manchester City boss has some other plans. And he revealed those in a recent interview (jokingly).

Here’s What Pep Guardiola Intends To Achieve Once He Is Done Celebrating The Treble!!

Every manager in any League across the globe has a team that is a JINX. For the Cityzens, it has been Tottenham for some reason. Not only has Pep Guardiola not beaten them away from home. But his team has failed to score on their travels.

This has not just caught the attention of the fans, but the manager as well. He is now obsessed with going to North London and beating Spurs at their own ground. And that is what his next target is, along with scoring a goal first.

This fact was revealed by the former Barcelona manager in a recent interview. Not often that a top-level manager has such a goal. But then, Pep Guardiola is who he is, for a reason. And he will look to achieve this feat as soon as possible.

Below is a recent interview of the manager, in which he revealed it as his next goal!!

Well, whether Pep achieves this goal soon or not, remains to be seen. For now, the celebrations have begun in the ‘blue’ half of Manchester. And they have won something that not a lot of Premier League clubs can boast of.

Neither Tottenham, nor Arsenal has done it. Chelsea has a couple and their domestic rivals Manchester United has plenty of European glory, along with Liverpool. However, joining an elite list of clubs that have been crowned Champions League winners, is a huge feat in itself.

Manchester City Won The Premier League, The FA Cup And The Champions League Title This Season

The Cityzens won all top titles/cups that can be won this term. Only the League Cup eluded them in the recently concluded campaign. However, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola will not be bothered about that. They have done what they set out to do. And the owners of the club will be delighted that they stuck with the Spanish boss.

He was brought to the Etihad for this purpose. And finally, he has achieved something that they have wanted for a long time now. The curse has been lifted and Manchester City are the champions of Europe!!

While a lot of fans feel that it is time for Pep Guardiola to leave and move on, the manager feels otherwise. It will now be interesting to see what will be his next goal, apart from the one that he just spoke about in this interview. Only time will tell!!
