Latest Update On The Future Of This Midfield Star; Will He Sign The Contract Offered By Arsenal!?

"I Want To Leave Arsenal" - This Arsenal Player Has Told Mikel Arteta That He Wants To Leave

The Gunners have been trying hard to get a lot of deals done. This is despite the fact that Arsenal have already signed some top players. However, it is not the only business that they are focused on. They want to sell some of their surplus stars. And also, extend the deals of some players that are in the last few years of their current contract with the London-based giants.

With that being said, one player that was rumoured to leave recently was Thomas Partey. He was linked with a potential move to Juventus. And then, to a Saudi-based club as well. However, it seems that Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta are not too keen to sell.

A Recent Interview Where Mikel Arteta Gave An Update On The Arsenal Player’s Future!!

When Mikel Arteta was recently probed in a press-conference about the future of his midfield general, he had only positive things to say. Things that every Arsenal fan would want to hear. And surely, it was the perfect time for him to express his desire to keep the player and vice versa, as Partey wants to stay at the Emirates too, as confirmed by the Gunners’ boss.

Below is the link to his recent interview which SKY SPORTS played!!

However, another Arsenal source had further information on the matter. He came out and gave a latest update. This is something that Beyond The Posts also shared and the Tweet went viral!!

Nothing Really To Be Concerned For The Gooners Across The Globe!?

Gooners across the globe were concerned about the future of Thomas Partey. Now, it seems that he will not be leaving the club if these claims are true. And that will be a relief for a lot of the Arsenal fans, that wanted him to extend. However, there is a section of the fans that are not really happy with the club.

They feel that Thomas Partey can be a liability in their ambitions to win more. And they will not be happy if he is given a 2-year deal. They would rather want him gone and want the club to cash in from the Saudi League. However, Partey doesn’t want to go to the middle-east.

He would rather joining Serie A giants Juventus. But, Arsenal were unimpressed with their offer and wanted more money. So, it seems, at the end of it all, they will offer a contract extension to the player.

Thomas Partey is still an asset to the team. That is what manager Mikel Arteta still feels. And he has emphasizing on that fact. Plus, he wants competition for places. And though Granit Xhaka has already left, it will not be smart to let another first-team star go right now.

The summer signings still need more time to settle in. And that is the why, there needs to be a balance between the existing players and the new ones in the starting XI. It can’t just be all new players coming in and performing, something that Chelsea might figure out soon. Let’s wait and watch how this transfer and contract saga develops now!!
