After losing the League title in the previous campaign to Manchester City, yet, confirming a return to Champions League football, things look good for the North Londoners at present. They have already signed a few top players, Havertz, Timber and the big fish, Declan Rice. Further, they have extended the contracts some other top stars like Saka, Saliba and co. too.

The North London giants recently extended the contracts of quite a few players. They also let go of some that were deemed surplus to needs. However, at the end of the day, one player that got a lot of attention for his contract extension is Ethan Nwaneri.
And it is being suggested now that though interest from other teams is reduced at present, it could be reignited in about eight months’ time. The player is already a regular in the club’s U-18 and U-21s at present. He is just 16 and has a bright future ahead.
This is one of the reasons that clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City want the Arsenal man. And they have been trying hard to get an offer through to him. Though he has not been keen on an exit at present, he could consider in the future. His fate could be similar to Omari Hutchinson, if the Londoners aren’t careful enough.
In order to avoid this, they did their best to get him to extend. But, there are always ways that other clubs can sign players that they want to. And so, the threat never really dies down. And it shall be interesting to see how things develop.

It is being said that Arsenal will sign a couple of more players after the Rice deal is done. The magnitude of the signings could depend on the exit of Thomas Partey and whether or not, he decides to leave the Emirates or stay longer.
At the end of the day, the idea is to improve the squad depth. Replacing players and letting all the old ones leave, just doesn’t do that. So, it could be a relative thing. Also, some young stars are already on the verge of an exit or have left. This makes things even more complicated.
