Injured Gabriel Jesus Forced To Travel To Brazil For International Duty

"He Is Going To Provide Competition To Gabriel Jesus" - Arsenal Set To Sign The €58m English Striker In 2023

Gabriel Jesus has been out for the last few weeks and has been unable to play for Arsenal. The fans have surely missed him, especially in the game against Newcastle United, in which the team was quite poor in the final third. And this has forced the team to play without him, at times lacking the creative skill to score goals.

It has not been ideal. However, Arsenal is a team that is bigger than any player. And the other stars need to produce the results, irrespective of using injuries as an excuse.

With that being said, the squad has still managed to put in solid performances from time to time. This has helped them make the much-needed impact in the Champions League. And are currently in the top three of the Premier League as well.

Arsenal are tied with second placed Liverpool (on GD) and are looking to win some titles this year. They want to win each and every game, despite having some issues at the centre of the pitch. The level has gone up and down at times. But overall, things are looking good for Arsenal right now!! And that’s all that matters!!

Why Did Gabriel Jesus Have To Travel To Brazil For International Duty Despite Being Injured!?

Well, the rules are changing, and so all players have to oblige with the new ones. Out with the old and in with the new. And that’s just how things are these days. Whether it is football or some other walk of life, things are just the way they are!! And we all have to somehow learn to accept CHANGE!!

Well, at the end of the day, the main thing is that Gabriel Jesus deserved more rest. But due to this policy now, he has to travel all the way to Brazil, just to showcase that he is injured. It makes SENSE as a rule, but overall, NO SENSE in this case.

If Jesus was fit to play for Arsenal and bailed on Brazil, then agreed, this LOGIC was FLAWLESS. But missing a few games for the Premier League side and then going to Brazil just to prove that he is INJURED or UNFIT to play, doesn’t!!

What Next For The Gunners; Can They Do Something Special This Year!?

Arsenal will try their best to get a trophy this year. Whether it is the League, the FA Cup or the Champions League (UCL), the team wants to fight for all. However, fighting and competing is one thing, and winning something big is another. So, whether they will be able to deliver or not, remains to be seen!!

Mikel Arteta has a huge injury list at present. And some of the crucial names like skipper Martin Odegaard and midfielder Thomas Partey are out too, along with Gabriel Jesus ofcourse. However, it seems that two out of those three injuries could be short-term, while Partey is out for the year.

So, let’s see if Arsenal this season can actually produce results when it matters the most!! Something, that they failed to do last year and it cost them the League!! Only Gabriel Jesus can save us!! (see what I did there!? Hah!!)
