Arsenal News: Latest Injury Update Given By Expert; As Arsenal Star Eyes Quick Return

Arsenal News: Arsenal welcomed Brighton to the Emirates in the Premier League on Sunday. The Gunners needed a win to climb back to the top of the League table, with Liverpool set to face off against Manchester United later in the evening. It had been a mixed bag for the North London giants in recent times. Manager Mikel Arteta and his coaching staff were keen on, getting back to winning ways.

The Spaniard had showcased way more ambition this season, after losing the League last term from a point of high advantage. Arteta wasn’t going to let things slip from his hands this time. However, neither Liverpool nor Manchester City are teams that get easily brushed aside. With that being said, Aston Villa have proven to be equally formidable as well. And then there is Brighton!!

Generally, Brighton are the dark-horses in the League each season. However, this year it has been Aston Villa, so far. And the credit goes to Unai Emery, for the remarkable job that he has done so far with the team. Despite that, Arsenal beat the former and lost to the latter and still managed to be on top of the points table.

Arsenal News: The Latest Injury Update On This Defensive Star; When Will He Be Coming Back!?

Takehiro Tomiyasu has been one of the key players this season. However the injury problems continue to mount for manager Mikel Arteta. And now there is yet another latest update on his current injury, with the Arsenal fans looking to know more. The latest Arsenal news does not sound too good for the fanbase.

Injury expert Ben Dinnery has suggested that the injury to Takehiro Tomiyasu is more serious than it was first thought. The defender is out at present with an injury to his calf, as confirmed recently. Though he is expected to return to training before the end of next month, if the complications do increase, it could mean more trouble for Mikel Arteta and co.

Arsenal want Tomiyasu to be fit and in the squad after the cheap goal that Zinchenko conceded against Liverpool. The Japanese international is a solid defensive option. And he can be influential in Arsenal’s Premier League and Champions League ambitions for this season.

What Next For The Gunners; Can They Win Silverware This Season!?

Mikel Arteta and this Arsenal team mean serious business!! They want to win everything. And the way that they are playing at present, anything is possible!! However, there is still a long way to go for the season to end. And there shall always be more “ifs” and “buts” moments to come. So, nothing is certain at present.

For now, the Arsenal news is all positive, with Tomiyasu and Partey expected to rejoin the team in January. At the end of the day, it will only add some much needed squad depth and motivate the team to push harder. Whether that actually boosts Arsenal’s chances of winning a major trophy this season or not, remains to be seen in the days to follow!!
