Talented Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen continues to draw interest from some of the top teams in Europe. All of Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid are keeping an eye on him. As to sources, Frimpong is looking to start a new chapter in his career, hence a move is likely.
Bayern Munich and Manchester United have already gotten thorough information on Frimpong. Knowing Frimpong would rather play in the Premier League, the Red Devils want to restart negotiations in June in an attempt to convince him to join Old Trafford. Frimpong’s release clause is valued at around €40 million, although it only becomes operative ahead to the start of the European Championship in July.
Arsenal And Premier League Clubs To Battle It Out For €40m target
Coach Xabi Alonso of Leverkusen wants to retain Frimpong with the team. He is aware of the challenge of keeping a player this sought after, however. Leverkusen would suffer a great deal if Frimpong were to be sold, particularly after their undefeated treble hopes were dashed in the Europa League final against Atalanta recently. Leverkusen may still win the DFB-Pokal against Kaiserslautern on Saturday to complete a domestic double despite this loss. WhoScored reports Frimpong has had a stellar season, scoring 14 goals and dishing out seven assists.
Should Frimpong have another outstanding game in the DFB-Pokal final, it would encourage the interested teams to move even more. Frimpong will have a harder choice the more clubs are vying for his signing. Every club has unique charms, which complicates his decision even more.
The teams have three weeks to go before Euro 2024, so they must move quickly to complete a contract. Frimpong is a hot item because of his ambition to go to the Premier League and his outstanding statistics. Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid will all fight for his signing as the transfer window gets warmer in an attempt to land one of Europe’s most promising right-backs.

Feyenoord goalie Justin Bijlow is being watched by both Arsenal and Liverpool. Soccer News claims that both teams would want to sign the 26-year-old at season’s conclusion. This transfer tale gains an intriguing twist with the appointment of former Feyenoord manager Arne Slot to Liverpool.
Particularly given Caoimhin Kelleher may go at the conclusion of the current campaign, Liverpool needs a top backup goalie. Presumably costing around €13 million, Bijlow might be a useful acquisition to any team. Arsenal’s alleged many scouting trips of Bijlow this season point to a keen interest. Any team might then make a formal proposal as the following stage.
Although Bijlow is tempted to join two of the greatest teams in the world, he will have to weigh the possibility of not being the first choice goalie. Alisson Becker definitely occupies the position at Liverpool, while David Raya is now the favored candidate at Arsenal. Bijlow would have to decide whether or not he would be at ease playing backup, which may affect his option.
Summertime may see Arsenal lose Aaron Ramsdale. Ramsdale has played fewer games since Raya arrived, and he could want to go to a team where he can be the starting goalie. Arsenal’s interest in Bijlow is made much more relevant by this possible departure.
