Arsenal Told To Sign The £100m Striker After Losing The Title

Arsenal News: Ian Wright thinks Mikel Arteta need to go for Alexander Isak in order to strengthen Arsenal’s front line. This follows Arsenal’s outstanding season and their near loss of the Premier League championship. Although Arsenal won 2-1 against Everton to close the season, Manchester City won 3-1 against West Ham to win the championship by two points. Fans of Arsenal have still cause for pride. With 89 points and 28 league victories—a club record—the squad had a season of notable improvement.

Arsenal might need more offensive alternatives even with their excellent performance. Towards the conclusion of the season, Kai Havertz filled in for Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, who were not in favour. During his past 13 games, Havertz scored nine goals. Wright thinks Arsenal needs a more clinical attacker, however, to win close games.

Wright said Newcastle’s Alexander Isak would be a great fit. With 21 goals in 30 games—averaging one every 108 minutes—Isak has been outstanding. Wright said of Isak’s possible influence, “Having a striker who can score from nothing can alter everything in such tight games, like the one Arsenal lost to Aston Villa. After calming the squad and enabling them to unwind, they may resume playing.”

Wright underlined the need of having a dependable goal scorer, particularly when up against a club like Manchester City. “You want someone who can locate the net on a regular basis, particularly when things count. This season Arsenal has scored a lot of goals, but we need a player who can alter the dynamics of the game,” he said.

This requirement is well met by Isak. His technical proficiency and ability to connect up play would fit Arteta’s approach at Arsenal. “A player of Isak’s level might fit right in with Arsenal’s system. “His technical prowess and playing style make him a good fit,” Wright said. He underlined Arsenal needs a player who can take advantage of half-chances, which may be critical in deciding close games.

Ian Wright believes Alexander Isak will be a great asset to Arsenal. His skill at scoring goals and technical skills may provide Arsenal the edge they need to contend for the Premier League championship the following season.

Mikel Arteta should, in Ian Wright’s opinion, sign Alexander Isak. Arsenal had a fantastic season but was two points short of winning the championship. Wright thinks Isak may provide them the extra scoring edge they need. Although Havertz performed well as a striker, Wright is looking for a guy who can alter close games. Isak’s performance at Newcastle demonstrates his aptitude and natural ability at this position. Wright thinks Isak’s skill at linking play and scoring important goals fits Arteta’s approach well. Arsenal could be able to win the title next season if they add Isak.

With speculations circling about his prospective exit from Barcelona, Chelsea sees Frenkie De Jong as a possible midfield reinforcement. Speculation has said that Chelsea may launch a €80 million bid to get him to Stamford Bridge.

With De Jong joining Chelsea, the midfield may be much strengthened by his inventiveness, control, and poise. The Dutch international is driven, skilled, and in control—qualities Chelsea is not. A strong midfield three formed by him and Enzo Fernandes and Moises Caicedo might improve Chelsea’s performance the next season.
