Whatever manager comes over, Chelsea intends to pursue Michael Olise. This bold action coincides with increasing interest in the Crystal Palace playmaker from elite teams such Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Olise is a well-desired player in the Premier League because to his outstanding achievements.
London-born and bred, Michael Olise played football for Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea in his youth. Later, he joined Reading and grew significantly there. Olise joined Crystal Palace in July 2021, and ever since then, he has been an integral member of the squad. He struggled with fitness, but in 19 Premier League games, he scored 10 goals and provided six assists, having a fantastic 2023–24 season. Multiple large teams have taken notice of these accomplishments.
Chelsea Will Come In For The £60m Arsenal Target
Arsenal is interested in Olise as Mikel Arteta wants to improve the offensive alternatives available to his side. Being able to play right flank and center, Olise is a versatile player. Chelsea, meanwhile, is adamant in signing Olise even as they look for a new manager after Mauricio Pochettino left. The club administration has made it plain that their pursuit of Olise will not be impacted by the managerial position. They are ready to immediately pay the £60 million asking price of Crystal Palace.
Ollie is also the target of Liverpool and Manchester United. Olise appeals to Liverpool because of the uncertainties surrounding the futures of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz. But Olise might provide a long-term answer for Manchester United, who has had trouble finding consistency on the right side.
Any of these elite teams is not put off by Olise’s £60 million price tag. Where the gifted 22-year-old winds up as the transfer window draws near is still unknown. But Crystal Palace will surely make an effort to keep their standout player at Selhurst Park for a further season.
More news:
Emile Smith Rowe’s future at Arsenal is not quite certain. Having had trouble getting consistent playing time, the summer transfer window may provide him with an exit. Interest in the youthful midfielder has been shown by Everton, Crystal Palace, and Aston Villa. These clubs, claims Fichajes, are keen to give Smith Rowe a new lease of life outside from North London.
Smith Rowe seems to find the most tempting choice to be Aston Villa. The roster is strong and the club has guaranteed a place in the UEFA Champions League for the next season. Smith Rowe and Villa’s current manager, Unai Emery, also have a history from their time at Arsenal. Given his skills, Emery would consider Smith Rowe to be a useful addition to his midfield. Aston Villa needs more inventiveness and goals from their midfield, and Smith Rowe would be the ideal candidate if he can get back into form.
An alternative possible location is Crystal Palace. Oliver Glasner guided them to a great season finale, and this summer they want to add to their team. Smith Rowe could be able to play a big part at Selhurst Park, where consistent playing time would let his skill show. His kind of talent is what the Eagles need to strive for a top-half finish the following season.
Everton monitors Smith Rowe keenly as well. The youthful midfielder is seen by them as a valuable addition. Everton has suffered, however, as they often find themselves in relegation fights. Seeing it as a possible step down, Smith Rowe would be reluctant to join a team in such a fragile situation. Probably, he wants to sign with a club that has a strong roster and promising future.
