Manchester United is going to make a surprise offer for Keylor Navas. The goalie who plays for Paris Saint-Germain now and was once with Real Madrid may quit the French team this summer. According to Fichajes reports, Manchester United is looking to sign a goalkeeper and is eager to improve their choices.
Navas had a prosperous time with Real Madrid, taking home three Champions League medals. In 2019 he left the Spanish behemoths to join PSG, where he first flourished. But in 2021 Gianluigi Donnarumma arrived, pushing Navas down the ladder. Navas so played backup for the bulk of the last several seasons, even going on a brief loan to Nottingham Forest.
With his PSG deal about to expire, Navas seems prepared to become a free agent. He has a few more years of elite football remaining in him at 37. Probably, his decision to move on was influenced by his lack of playing time this season. Manchester United is one of the teams who would want to sign him on a free transfer.
Manchester United Eye PSG Star In Summer
Andre Onana, the first-choice goalkeeper at Manchester United right now, hasn’t quite won over the club’s leadership since joining from Inter Milan. United has been compelled to think about strengthening their goalkeeping staff in response. With his wealth of expertise, they think Navas might give Onana strong competition and maybe even overtake him as the top dog.
Navas appeals as a free transfer candidate because of his expertise and availability. Manchester United believes that having him in the team would improve it by giving the goalkeeping position more depth and competition. They aren’t the only team after Navas, however. Manchester United’s intentions might be complicated by the desire of other elite clubs in pursuing the Costa Rican international.
Should Manchester United be able to sign Navas, it may be a wise decision. His elite football background, especially in intense Champions League games, can come in very handy. United expects that having him will bolster their team and increase their prospects of reaching the top division next season.

Talented 25-year-old goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is certain to depart Liverpool this summer. Football Insider reports that Kelleher wants more regular playing time, which he is unable to get at Liverpool since Alisson Becker is the first choice goalie.
During cup games and when Alisson isn’t there, Kelleher has shown himself to be a dependable shot-stopper. Not insignificantly, his performances have drawn attention, and many think he can start for elite clubs. Liverpool is ready to let Kelleher leave for the appropriate price; they estimate his worth to be between £20 and £22 million.
Kelleher has been shown interest in by Celtic lately, and the Irishman may be heading to Scotland. Although Liverpool would much rather retain a player of his calibre, they are aware that Kelleher must look for regular first-team action. It would not help either side to hold onto a dissatisfied player.
Liverpool has to find a competent backup goalie if Kelleher goes. Depending only on Alisson for the next campaign is dangerous. There are reports linking Liverpool to Anthony Patterson, indicating the team is already thinking about possible successors.
