Manchester United Wants To Sign The Former Barcelona Star

Graeme Bailey of HITC reports Manchester United is considering a Bosman transfer for Spanish full-back Juan Miranda

Graeme Bailey of HITC reports Manchester United is considering a Bosman transfer for Spanish full-back Juan Miranda. As they want to strengthen their left-back position before the summer transfer window, the club is interested in Miranda, 24, of Real Betis.

Since arriving at Real Betis from Barcelona, Miranda’s career has undergone a dramatic upturn. First leased out in October 2020, he was transferred permanently in July 2021 and rose to prominence with Los Verdiblancos. Miranda has thrived, making more than 100 appearances, scoring eight goals and dishing out 11 assists. However, interest in his last months of contract has been generated around Europe.

Manchester United Wants To Sign The Former Barcelona Star

Miranda has been linked to West Ham United and Crystal Palace, but Manchester United has now joined the race. With Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia’s injuries compounding their left-back problems, the Red Devils want to find a solution.

Although Melvin Bard and Jorrel Hato are also being considered, Miranda’s approaching free agent status gives Manchester United more appeal. Maybe the club’s search for a left-back will lead to a Bosman acquisition of the gifted Spaniard.

The interest Manchester United has shown in Miranda highlights their dedication to strengthening important positions. The Red Devils are still clearly focused on achieving defensive solidity as the summer transfer window draws near. Whether Miranda turns out to be their answer is still unknown, but his candidature offers the Premier League contenders a bright future.

Looking at Juan Miranda by Manchester United makes sense. They have battled at left-back, Shaw and Malacia both afflicted by ailments. Miranda has promise as shown by his accomplishments at Real Betis. He’s also going to be a free agent shortly, which adds value. His age fits very well with United’s rebuilding objectives. Without going broke, signing him may improve their defense. All things considered, the Red Devils may benefit much from this practical decision.
