Real Madrid has targeted William Saliba, the star player for Arsenal, this summer, along with other European heavyweights. The adventure of Saliba at Arsenal started in 2019 under Unai Emery. Though it was expected of him to play a major role, he was loaned out to Saint-Etienne and then had good spells with OGC Nice and Marseille. Once back at Arsenal for the 2022–2023 campaign, Saliba made a huge impression and cemented his place in the defence.
Saliba is being sought after by Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain for their defensive lines, according to reports, who see his skill and promise. But buying him won’t be cheap. Estimates of his cost are around £85 million. Saliba is especially admired by Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti. Arsenal is determined to keep Saliba even with the alluring offers. He is important to the team, as shown by the preparations to give him a new contract. With a current market worth of almost €100 million, Saliba, who was signed for only £27 million in 2019, is among the most expensive defenders in the world.
Real Madrid Willing To Spend £85m To Sign This Arsenal Star
Saliba is not for sale, Arsenal is certain about, despite rumors about his future. But given his soaring worth, a sizable profit is certain if they accept bids. Saliba’s extraordinary skill and possible price are highlighted even more by comparisons to other well-known acquisitions like Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, both of whom cost over £100 million. Football teams around Europe are vying for Saliba’s services on the transfer market. With the summer transfer market fast approaching, the story of his possible transfer will surely enthrall both fans and analysts, with Arsenal standing strong in the face of enormous offers.
With Arsenal, Saliba has had an incredible ascent. Giants of the European scene like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG have taken notice of his ability. Arsenal should be steadfast even if his possible exit may bring in a large cash. Saliba adds value to the squad that goes beyond money. He now forms a key component of Arteta’s defensive plan. Arsenal would suffer if they sold him. Maintaining the team’s main strength is more important than money. Arsenal is committing to their long-term success as shown by their desire to retain Saliba.

Journalist Devrim Zengi made hints on May 2nd that Ferdi Kadıoğlu of Fenerbahçe would join Arsenal during the next summer transfer window. Scouts from Arsenal were drawn to the left-back all season long because of his three goals in 49 appearances. Journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims that Arsenal has started trying to sign the 24-year-old player. Tavolieri said on X, the social media platform that the north London club is still in talks with Kadıoğlu’s agents in order to come to a personal agreement.
Tavolieri underlined that he got this information from his own sources and that those who know the Turkish international have revealed his relationship to Mikel Arteta’s squad. Arsenal has not, however, started talks with Fenerbahçe over Kadıoğlu. Once an agreement with the left-back is reached, talks with the Istanbul club can start. The Turkish media reported earlier this month that Arsenal planned to contact Fenerbahçe. They apparently want to make Kadıoğlu a bid in the next window for around €20 million.
