Arsenal Make A Decision On The £130m Release Clause Of Victor Osimhen

Arsenal desperately need a striker signing in the summer transfer window of 2024. They have shortlisted a lot of strikers to make a signing in the summer. They went after Benjamin Sesko with lot of efforts. However, the player decided to stay at RB Leipzig. Hence, it crushed all the transfer plans of Arsenal. The Gunners are now looking at Victor Osimhen as their next target to rejuvenate the strike force.

Arsenal Make A Decision On The £130m Release Clause Of Victor Osimhen

The release clause of victor Osimhen is €130m. Napoli wants to sell the player at only that transfer price. However, Arsenal are not ready to pay that exact inflated amount to sign the striker. They value Osimhen at just €75m which is quite less than the release clause of Osimhen.

Oismhen is one of the best centre forward in the world. Hence, Napoli are not ready to budge for anything less than the €130m release clause. However, if any club does come with a good offer, they will likely change their mindset and might sell him in the summer transfer window. Hence, Arsenal have a ray of optimism regarding the signing of victor Osimhen.

The player has already rejected many high profile offer from the Saudi Arabian clubs who were willing to pay Napoli a price close to his release clause. The clubs were venue offering double the salary that Osimhen is getting at Napoli. However, he wants to stay in Europe and he thinks that he will definitely get a chance to feature in the premier League.

He was very interested and confident of joining Chelsea in the summer transfer window. However, the blues are not ready to pay anything close to the release clause of the player. Reports have even revealed that Chelsea are no more negotiating with Napoli. So, it is still not clear where Victor Osimhen will move to in the summer transfer window. However, one thing is certain, that he sees his future away from Napoli.

As they look to bolster their roster this summer, Aston Villa has their eyes set on Ian Maatsen, a gifted full-back from the Netherlands. In an effort to reach a deal, the Villans are in daily negotiations with officials from Maatsen. But Villa has a huge obstacle in Chelsea’s £35 million asking price for their academy graduate.

At 22 years old, Ian Maatsen is eager to establish a foothold in his chosen field. After leaving PSV Eindhoven, he joined Chelsea and became a star in the youth system. Despite his improvement, he still hasn’t gotten much playing time at Chelsea. On the other hand, Maatsen spent time on loan at Charlton Athletic, Burnley, Coventry City, and Borussia Dortmund, where he improved his game. His tenure at Dortmund was the most formative, yet he improved throughout each of his stints.

Maatsen was a shining star at Signal Iduna Park. He started 22 of his 23 games and had a point for every goal and assist for another. As a result of his performances, Dortmund advanced to the UEFA Champions League final. Because of this achievement, Borussia Dortmund is eager to make Maatsen’s contract permanent. But the German club has it tough due to Chelsea’s exorbitant £35 million asking price.
