€20m Arsenal Player Wanted By Juventus

Jakub Kiwior, a 24-year-old Polish defender at Arsenal, is apparently being pursued by Juventus. With a new centre-back needed this summer, the Serie A heavyweights have their eye on Kiwior. But Arsenal is not about to let him leave cheaply; the adaptable defender is now valued at €20 million.

Kiwior started out in his youth career at GKS Tychy in Poland before moving on to Arsenal. His ascent to fame began with his transfer to Spezia from MSK Zilina; he also played for Anderlecht briefly. Arsenal saw his talents and in January 2023 welcomed him to North London.

Kiwior hasn’t had the best of luck at Arsenal getting into the starting lineup. He played in 30 games in 2023–2024 but only racked up 1,594 minutes on the field. But in the end, his adaptability paid off, as it opened him additional chances. But Kiwior is still more of a backup choice given Arsenal’s formidable defense group.

Kiwior’s prospects at Arsenal seem hazy. Unless a regular starter has a serious injury, he may be thinking about his choices given the possibility of little playing time the following season. Kiwior might return to Serie A as Juventus and AC Milan have shown interest.

It seems logical why Juventus is interested in Kiwior. With Gleison Bremer linked to Manchester United, they are dealing with uncertainties over his future. Furthermore, the team needs younger, more adaptable defenders since Filip Kostic is thirty years old and beyond his best. Kiwior meets the requirements and provides the Turin-based team with a viable alternative.

Juventus still gives signing Riccardo Calafiori first priority even though Kiwior has emerged as a target. But they understand Kiwior’s worth and potential, particularly if Arsenal maintains their €20 million demand. For any elite team, Kiwior’s versatility in defensive positions makes him a wise investment.

The possible move highlights how unstable football careers are. At twenty-four, Kiwior is at a crossroad. After only eighteen months at Arsenal, his career may take off again if he moves to Juventus. His recent success in Serie A may be too much to refuse.

Juventus has to consider their alternatives very carefully as they consider this transfer. Kiwior gives a squad hoping to develop a strong defensive line for the future youth and adaptability. Juventus may get a defender with a lot of promise and much to show if they match Arsenal’s asking price.

Certainly, there will be more developments throughout the summer transfer window. The scenario with Kiwior is a perfect example of how football transfers are dynamic and how a player’s future may depend on club choices and their strategic requirements. For now, all eyes will be on if Juventus make a concrete bid for the Polish defender, and whether Kiwior finds himself back in Italy, ready to take on fresh challenges in Serie A.
