Victor Osimhen Responds To Arsenal, Chelsea And Manchester United's Interest

The prolific Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is dying to play in the Premier League. At the summer transfer window, he wants to join Manchester United, Arsenal, or Chelsea. With great progress since moving to Napoli from LOSC Lille in 2020, this Nigerian striker is now looking for a fresh challenge in England.

After some setbacks early in his time at Napoli, Osimhen settled down at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium quite fast. Being among the best attackers in the world, his performances have been getting better all the time. In 32 games in 2023–24, he scored 17 goals and contributed four assists despite having some off-field troubles and fitness challenges. Not insignificantly, his talent has drawn attention from a number of well-known teams.

Arsenal is eager to improve their offensive possibilities. After a dismal campaign from Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, their manager, Mikel Arteta, is looking for a productive striker. Though the North London club is unwilling to pay the substantial release clause in his contract, Osimhen fits the description exactly. Though his cost might be a deterrent, Arsenal finds Osimhen to be a very talented player.

In a similar predicament is Chelsea as well. To strengthen its team, the West London club is seeking for a consistent goal scorer. Osimhen is a tempting target since the alternatives available now have not lived up to expectations. Like Arsenal, Chelsea, however, is reluctant to pay the enormous release clause that Napoli has imposed. They understand the worth and possible influence Osimhen might have on their squad.

Victor Osimhen Responds To Arsenal, Chelsea And Manchester United’s Interest

The interest Manchester United has shown in Osimhen gives the transfer situation yet another level. United still needs a reliable backup plan even if Rasmus Hojlund is seen as a long-term fix for their issue. Still, Osimhen is not trying to be second best. His goal of being the main striker might make his possible transfer to Old Trafford more difficult. United obviously respects his abilities, however.

The story takes a turn thanks to the Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Ahli. They are the only team prepared to pay Osimhen a startling €15 million a season and waive his release clause. Though many players might be drawn to this rich agreement, Osimhen’s choice is still evident. If he moves out of Napoli, he wants to test himself in the Premier League with one of the English titans.

Victor Osimhen’s future is in jeopardy as the summer transfer deadline draws near. Strong desire to play in the Premier League has been expressed by Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United. Still, his future move may be greatly influenced by the money component of the agreement. Although Al-Ahli presents a profitable alternative, Osimhen seems to be more interested in moving to England. The next few weeks will show whether this gifted striker can be signed by one of these Premier League teams or if the Saudi Pro League’s financial might will entice him away.
