From Stade Rennais, 21-year-old Guela Doue is under consideration for a summer transfer by Manchester United. The Red Devils are looking for a new right-back aggressively and have found Doue to be a potential possibility.
Beginning his road at Stade Rennais’ youth system in 2002, Guela Doue has been with the team for more than ten years. Manchester United Are Interested In 21-year-old Ivory Coast International; What About Arsenal And Chelsea?
Several elite European teams have taken notice of his ascent; now Manchester United is evaluating him as a target. Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s uncertain future drives the need of a right-back at Old Trafford. The Red Devils could sell Wan-Bissaka, therefore creating a need that has to be filled.
Manchester United also keeps under eye other right-backs like Noussair Mazraoui. Doue is not obvious, however, if their main focus is on him Manchester United also shows great interest in his younger brother Desire, suggesting a sharp watch on the Doue family.
It would be fascinating to see Doue come to the Premier League. At Stade Rennais, he has showed potential; yet, the Premier League is a big change from there. To confirm their defense, Manchester United needs a dependable right-back; if given the opportunity, Doue may be just perfect.
Manchester United’s interest in Guela Doue points to their pursuit for a right-back among unknown circumstances around Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Doue is an interesting possibility based on his development at Stade Rennais and his international breakthrough. Still to be seen, however, if he turns into a major Red Devil target.
Doue’s decision to join Manchester United might be a wise risk-taking. Though he’s young and shows promise, moving from Ligue 1 to the Premier League is never easy. Should he fit well, the Red Devils might find great value in him. They have to balance this, however, with the danger and make sure they have a strong backup should the relocation prove unworkable.

Arsenal has told Jakub Kiwior he is free to go this summer. After discussing with the Polish defender, the club concluded his services were no more needed. Several Serie A teams have show interest in Kiwior; Inter Milan is leading the hunt.
Kiwior spent 2023 winter with the Gunners from Spezia Calcio. He appeared 38 times during the last 18 months and helped five goals to be scored. Though mostly a left-back, he also covered center defense. Though he is still flexible and gives strong performances, it appears his stay in North London is almost over.
Though Kiwior had four years remaining on his contract, Mikel Arteta’s staff advised him he might go. This choice corresponds with Arsenal’s agreement with Bologna for Riccardo Calafiori. Soon joining the Gunners to fulfill Kiwior’s position will be the Italian international. The club considers Calafiori as an improvement as he can play left-back and center defense.
