Promising 20-year-old French midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu is under observation by Everton in the next summer transfer window. Currently with Chelsea, Ugochukwu has had trouble getting much playing time. Everton sees a chance to cover voids in their midfield and add new talent. Ugochukwu started his career at Rennes, France. Before he joined Stade Rennais in 2012, he spent his young years with ASPTT Rennes and CPB Nord Ouest Foot. He grew into a good player over ten years at Stade Rennais, drawing interest from Chelsea. Last summer, Chelsea signed him; yet, he has struggled to fit into their first squad, only making 15 appearances and accumulating 567 minutes of playing time.

This lack of playing time has caused doubt about his Chelsea future. According to reports, Everton has since been a major rival even though the club presented him to AC Milan. Given their present circumstances, Everton’s interests make sense. They need a good midfielder to cover for Amadou Onana’s expected leaving to Aston Villa.

Among numerous midfielders Everton has been considering are Florentino Luis. But Ugochukwu has turned into a top target now. Chelsea is receptive to a financing agreement, which would help all the stakeholders. For Ugochukwu, an Everton loan would bring greater playing time and meaningful first-team experience. Everton would improve their squad depth and budgetary flexibility by adding a competent midfielder to replace Onana. Chelsea, on the other hand, would have an opportunity to see their young talent grow in a challenging surroundings.

The possible action may result in a win-all. In the Premier League, Ugochukwu might establish his value; Everton could improve their midfield without a long-term commitment; Chelsea may get their player back with improved talents and experience. This agreement can turn out to be a smart move for all those engaged as the summer transfer season gets ready.

More news:

This summer Dominic Calvert-Lewin may depart Everton. The 27-year-old striker interests Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham among other teams. Everton is keen to sell Graeme Bailey from TBR Football. Calvert-Lewin lately battled form and injury. Everton could be wise to grab a decent amount for him. Originally very regarded in the Premier League, his progress has stagnated. He is still a gifted footballer, however, and maybe he only needs a new start to get his career back under way.

Good news for potential suitors is Everton’s readiness to sell him. Tottenham, Manchester United, and Chelsea want to have him at a reasonable cost. Nicolas Jackson has underperformance, hence Chelsea requires a new striker. Familiar with the Premier League, Calvert-Lewin would be a great acquisition. Chelsea’s assault may be strengthened by his aerial power and scoring prowess.

Manchester United also needs additional depth for offense. Rasmus Hojlund will help them distribute the goal-scoring burden. Calvert-Lewin may be their solution. Conversely, Tottenham still has to identify a suitable successor for Harry Kane. Before the transfer window shuts, they have to bring in a great striker; Calvert-Lewin may be just perfect.
