Liverpool News: With several Premier League teams expressing interest, Liverpool’s teenage winger Ben Doak may be on the move this summer. Though only to another top-flight team, the Merseyside club is ready to let the 18-year-old move on loan. This is about providing Doak the first-team experience he needs to grow into a major player for Liverpool, not about dumping him. For a meager £600,000, Doak joined Liverpool and soon emerged as one of the most exciting possibilities there was. Unquestionably, he has promise, but with Liverpool’s present squad depth, regular first-team play at Anfield seems improbable right now. A loan move makes logical then.
Liverpool Are Ready To Loan Out 18-year-old Player
Playing at junior level or lounging on the bench won’t help Doak grow too much. To really improve his abilities, he must be challenging seasoned pros. Liverpool is aware of this and looks determined to locate a team where Doak can receive the required minutes. Interest has revealed itself from mid-table Premier League clubs such Leicester City and Southampton as well as recently promoted sides. Both teams might provide Doak consistent play opportunity, which would be very vital for his development. The kid is a great value in the last third because of his speed, agility, and technical abilities; his adaptability lets him play on either side. Doak may be the ideal match for a squad trying to boost their offensive.
Where Doak ends up this summer will determine a lot. He needs a team that will schedule frequent playing time, not simply a spot on the bench. If he makes sensible decisions, this loan action may be the start of a great Liverpool career. Liverpool needs to treat his growth carefully; Doak might be a major player who saves the club millions in future transfer expenses. Should the relocation fail, however, it might stop his development and ultimately cost Liverpool.

Chelsea almost has Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid signed under contract. Following a day of fierce talks in Madrid, Atletico Madrid has chosen to soften their position on the 20-year-old attacker. Reports state that Chelsea is currently close to a £34.5 million agreement to introduce Omorodion Stamford Bridge.
Originally opposed to selling Omorodion, Atletico Madrid saw him as a major possibility particularly after a strong loan term at Alaves. Diego Simeone considered Omorodion as a possible buddy for new acquisition Alexander Sorloth after Alvaro Morata left AC Milan. Chelsea persevered in their search, however, and with Atletico’s emphasis changing during a transfer frenzy, the road to Omorodion grew clearer.
Atletico was bustling Tuesday, having agreed to recruit Julian Alvarez from Manchester City in a huge £82 million deal. Further opening the path for Omorodion’s departure, the Spanish side also approached signing Conor Gallagher from Chelsea. The choice to let Omorodion depart seems connected to Atletico’s successful Alvarez negotiations. Once minor problems in personal terms were resolved, the agreement with Alvarez was finalized and Chelsea could swoop in for Omorodion.
