Aurelien Tchouameni can leave for arsenal on one condition

Aurelien Tchouameni, the 24-year-old French midfielder, has been linked with a potential move away from Real Madrid, with both Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly interested in his services. Although Tchouameni is happy at the Spanish club for now, his long-term future at the Santiago Bernabeu seems uncertain. His main issue revolves around regular playing time, and the possibility of him leaving Madrid hinges on whether he can secure a consistent spot in the team. He may well reconsider his future if he doesn’t see himself as a key part of the squad in the months ahead.

Since his arrival in Madrid, Tchouameni has not been a consistent first-choice player. Although he’s versatile, having played in various roles, the French international’s preference is to operate as a defensive midfielder, his natural position. Despite adapting to different tasks on the field, he seems to have struggled to fully establish himself as a regular starter. His desire to play in his most comfortable role could be a major factor in deciding whether he stays or leaves.

Aurelien Tchouameni can leave for arsenal on one condition

Arsenal and Liverpool, two Premier League giants, have been tracking Tchouameni for quite some time, with both clubs needing reinforcements in midfield. For Arsenal, a midfield shake-up may be on the horizon. Thomas Partey, a key player for the Gunners, has been plagued by injuries since his move to north London, while Jorginho, another midfielder, is nearing the final stages of his career. With Partey’s fitness issues and Jorginho’s age, the Gunners are likely looking for a younger, more durable option to bolster their midfield. Tchouameni fits the bill perfectly, providing the defensive solidity Arsenal needs while offering a long-term solution to their midfield concerns.

Liverpool’s interest in Tchouameni is longstanding. The Merseyside club has kept an eye on him since his days at AS Monaco and even tried to secure his services before he moved to Madrid. Now, with the potential for a second chance to bring him to Anfield, the Reds are surely keeping tabs on the situation. Liverpool’s current defensive midfield options are not as solid as they once were. Wataru Endo, who recently joined the club, has not yet proven to be the elite presence Liverpool requires in that role. Tchouameni would be a significant upgrade, adding a level of quality that Liverpool has missed since the departure of Fabinho.

Opinion:

If Tchouameni decides to move on from Madrid, both Arsenal and Liverpool would represent attractive destinations for the young midfielder. Both clubs are prestigious, with rich histories, and they offer the kind of playing time and importance that Tchouameni might not get in Madrid. Arsenal’s project under Mikel Arteta and Liverpool’s ambition to rebuild under Jurgen Klopp would be ideal for a player looking to become a focal point of a team.

Ultimately, Tchouameni’s future at Real Madrid will depend on his ability to secure more regular playing time in his preferred position. If he can break into the starting lineup and make himself indispensable, it’s likely he’ll remain in Spain. However, if his situation doesn’t improve, he could very well be tempted by a move to the Premier League.

In my opinion, Tchouameni would be an excellent addition to either Arsenal or Liverpool. Both clubs offer him the opportunity to play in his natural role and could give him the regular minutes he needs to develop into a top-class midfielder. The move to England could also be beneficial for his career growth, with the Premier League offering the intensity and competition to push him further. Real Madrid may have to work hard to convince him to stay, as both Arsenal and Liverpool will likely keep circling until they get their man.
