Opinion: ‘It Has Begun’, Manchester United Superstar Is On The Path To Revive His Career At Old Trafford?

Things could change completely for Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez, as he may now try to revive his career at Old Trafford in the upcoming season. The Chilean international failed to make any sort of impact under former boss Jose Mourinho, though might be able to make things happen under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The former Arsenal man has spent most of his last term injured since the arrival of the Norwegian manager and this could be his big opportunity to prove himself at the World stage now.

Chile are the defending champions at present and will want to retain their title. As Vidal already stated recently, they are the team to be feared and will want to make a strong impact.

With that being said, the holders faced off against the Japanese national side (a new invitee this year), in their opening match of the tournament. They managed to beat the Asian side 4-0, in which the winger put in a solid performance.

Alexis Sanchez had a superb match against Japan in the Copa America last night and the stats are mentioned below:

• 1 goal
• 1 assist
• 2 shots on target
• 3 chances created
• 10 duels won
• 5 fouls won
• 100% tackle success rate

Keeping that in mind, the tournament is still has a long-way to go and there are quite a lot of games still remaining. Sanchez needs to be consistent, so that he can prove his worth to the Red Devils and the fact that he still has enough football left in him to be part of the Manchester United side.

Solskjaer has been trying his best to rebuild the team around some of the quality stars that he has in his side at present and the attacker can be one such player, as he has already shown the world at north London. He was one of the main players under former Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger and push the team to better things and growth, during his time with the Londoners.

If he can do more of the same with the Manchester based side now, things will really improve at The Theatre of Dreams. It can be the change that the manager and the fans are looking for and United can win more titles in the seasons to come. There is no denying the fact that Sanchez has the quality to lead a team and that his committment and desire to play is right up there.

However, the problem has been that he has not been able to find his feet so far since making his move to Manchester. The Gooners still know what he can bring to the table if he is in the right kind of form and will hope that he leaves United and moves on with his career.

Despite that, it will now be up to the club management and Ed Woodward to decide what they want to do with this attacker. They may offer him a chance to redeem himself or just let him leave, if they can bring in suitable replacements. For now, they have signed Daniel James already.
