“Big News!!”, Mikel Arteta And Arsenal Has Decided ‘THIS REPLACEMENT’ For The Injured Gabriel Jesus

Folarin Balogun is currently on loan at Reims. But Arsenal has the option to bring him back as they look for a replacement for Gabriel Jesus

90min reports that Arsenal is contemplating bringing Folarin Balogun back from his loan at Reims. The promising youngster’s stellar season in Ligue 1 might come to an end if the Gunners see him as a replacement for the injured Gabriel Jesus.

Gabriel Jesus’s serious injury has shocked Arsenal. It happened when Brazil met Cameroon in their last group-stage game. The striker seemed to have been injured in the first half when he took a blow to the knee, according to early reports. He stayed on the field until almost halfway through the second half, when he was replaced.

Manager Tite has subsequently rubbished such rumours, as the emphasis moves onto what Mikel Arteta may do to repair the problem. Jesus has altered the way Arsenal play with his high-energy approach and terrific tenacity in the closing third. While his goalless streak has received a lot of attention, he is still an integral part of Arteta’s leadership group.

The first assessment of his injuries predicted a quicker road to recovery. After having knee surgery, Arsenal has revealed Jesus will be out for around three months. The news is devastating for Arsenal and their prospects of winning the Premier League.

Eddie Nketiah is the only logical substitute in the team. But he cannot be their primary choice during the while Jesus is down. Arteta’s proposed solution raises certain problems. There were rumors that Arsenal would only sign two players in January. So they wouldn’t be able to replace the Brazilian if something happened to them.

Will Folarin Balogun return to the Emirates stadium?

Links with Tammy Abraham have revived, although a transfer for the AS Roma attacker is exceedingly implausible in January. Another idea is to bring back loan striker Folarin Balogun after his time with Reims. The Gunners are apparently capable of doing so, but they are still doubtful.

The Gunners are apprehensive about disrupting Balogun’s developing season in France, where he has eight Ligue 1 goals, which is one more than Lionel Messi. While his season may improve, the Gunners remain hesitant about terminating it in January. Moreover, Balogun is just experiencing a steady run of games for any squad in the top division for the first time.

Balogun has yet to establish his value under Arteta despite the numerous encouraging signals during his few time on the field. It may seem that he would likely stay at Reims unless Arsenal took the dramatic step of recalling the on-loan striker.
