Two such examples happened with Kumble on flights in the last few years. One fan was travelling is the flight on which Kumble was also travelling and the fan-requested selfie from Kumble on Twitter.

She tweeted, “OMG just spotted @anilkumble1074. We are on the same flight. Can I please get a selfie? Please…”

A stalwart of the game Kumble replied instantly to her, “Sure. After take Off!”

Kumble completed his promise and let her take a selfie with him after take-off of the flight. The fan tweeted, “I got the selfie! Thank you for being so gracious and indulging me @anilkumble1074. You are always going to be an inspiration.”

The Previous Time When The Former Indian Coach Made Someone Feel Special

This is not the first time Kumble win the hearts of fans by his generosity. Another fan was travelling in the same flight with Kumble in 2018 and she remembered the brave show of Kumble off playing with broken-jaw while playing for Indian team against West Indies. She was delighted by her fanboy moment.

She Tweeted, “The legendary @anilkumble1074 in my BLR-MUM flight. Glanced at him once and was reminded of that game in West Indies where he bowled with a bandaged jaw. Teared up a bit. Gawwddd, I am such a sucker for cricket memories.”

She was very thrilled to see Kumble on the same flight. Kumble retweeted the tweet instantly, “Please feel free to come over and say hi after take-off @Mittermaniac.”

What A Great Guy And A Respected Player

The fangirl overjoyed with gracious behaviour of Kumble and met with him after take-off. She also got autograph of Kumble on her boarding pass of flight which she posted on Twitter.

Anil Kumble took close to 1000 wickets in international cricket for the Indian team. He is considered one of the greatest spinners of all time. He was also the head coach of team India some time ago.

Kumble retired from cricket in 2008 from International cricket. The 49-year-old is now the head coach of Kings XI Punjab team in this season of IPL. His team couldn’t win many games in this season of IPL. Kings XI Punjab won only two games in this season of IPL with six losses. They are ranked at the last position in the points table. They will play against table-toppers Mumbai Indians tomorrow at Dubai.
