English Pace bowler Jofra Archer was recently part of the third Test match against the West Indies. However, he still was active on Twitter. Archer is always busy on Twitter and always post something or the other on Twitter. Interestingly, his old tweets have even coincided with the current scenarios. Hence, he has been recently in the headlines.

Recently, he was again in the news for breaching ECB’s bio-secure protocols. Hence, team management dropped him from the team right before the second Test match. Archer even said that he had to face some racial abuse incidents on social media during his five-day self-isolation period.

However, he did play the third test match of the series against West Indies. England won the Test match and hence secured a 2-1 series win. However, amid the match, his social media actively again hogged the headlines. His recent tweet won the heart of many cricket fans. On of the Twitter user tweeted and asked him to show anything more beautiful than a female’s body.

Jofra Archer replied to this tweet brilliantly. He posted a picture of a ball hitting the stumps and dislodging the bells. Ever fast bowler loves the sight of the ball hitting the stumps, and his reply won the heart of many fans.

Jofra Archer picked up one wicket in the Test match. He had to sit out of the second Test after a brilliant bowling performance in the first Test which ended in a losing cause. England won the Test match by 269 runs and Stuart Broad was the Man Of The Match for his brilliant bowling performance.

England scored 369 runs in the first innings riding on the 50+ scores from Pope, Buttler and Broad. In turn, England dismissed the Windies for just 197 runs in the first innings. Stuart Broad was the hero with the ball as well, as he picked up 6 wickets in the first innings.

In the second innings, England declared at 226 for the loss of two wickets. Chasing a target of 399 runs, West Indies could manage to score only 129 runs. Chris Woakes and Stuart Broad picked up four and four wickets respectively in the second innings.

Jofra Archer is one of most vocal players on Twitter. He has savage with respect to his replies to his critics. However, if you can respond well on the pitch, these things don’t matter. It will be interesting to see how the fast bowler can compensate now on the pitch.
