According to the latest reports, Italian club AS Roma are prepared to sell their young sensation Cengiz Under after willing to agree to listen to offers from Arsenal and Barcelona in the upcoming winter transfer window. The two European giants will face a bit of a battle to take Cengiz away from the Italian capital in the January transfer window.

Arsenal is currently enjoying a great spell under new manager Unai Emery at the moment having won 11 games in a row. The Gunners began their season with some difficulty losing to Manchester City and Chelsea but it has been only an upward trajectory for the North London side ever since. Most recently, Arsenal had been held to a 2-2 draw against London rivals Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park but Emery’s men stretched their unbeaten run to 12 games in all competitions.

The next big test for Arsenal comes up in the upcoming weekend when they host the high flying Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp’s side is finally finding their feet following a rather shaky start but will be on song when they visit the Emirates on Saturday.

With almost everything going well at Arsenal the only worrying factor at the club is the doubt over midfield star Aaron Ramsey and his contract woes. According to reports, Ramsey is demanding a massive pay hike in order to extend his current deal which expires at the end of the summer. The Arsenal board is not on the same level as the Welsh playmaker and is looking for alternatives in the winter transfer window to sell the 27-year-old and purchase a midfielder with that transfer fees.

The reports claim that Arsenal is targeting AS Roma superstar Cengiz Under in the January transfer window in order to bolster their attack, which is already firing on all cylinders at the moment. Having already lost an incredible amount of talent over the past two seasons in the form of Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker, Radja Nainggolan and even Kevin Strootman, AS Roma are shockingly prepared to listen to offers for another one of their high-class talents, Cengiz Under.

Cengiz is predominantly a right winger but can play anywhere along the front-line and even as the main striker or as a play-maker. His versatility is key for AS Roma and even the Turkish national team, Cengiz is one of the most highly rated footballers across Europe based on talent and skill which has attracted Arsenal’s interest in the 21-year-old starlet. Having had a bright start to the season, Cengiz has already notched up three goals and three assists this term.

The main problem for Arsenal is that they will face stiff competition from La Liga giants Barcelona this winter as the Catalonian club are unhappy with new arrival Malcolm and want a replacement for the Brazilian. Cengiz could be the perfect replacement for the under firing Malcolm(who could be sold), but AS Roma will only be willing to sell their prized asset for over £60m, a price which is risky for a young superstar.
