Well, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that France international Alexandre Lacazette is a high quality player, who has already showcased his skills in Ligue 1 and has caught the attention of many big sides from the Premier League and other competitions as well. The 25 year old attacker has been consistently scoring goals for Lyon and has really been impressive in recent times, as he continues to be linked with a move away from his native country.

Further, it has been confirmed by a report from the Daily Mirror that the Gunners are still keen on singing Lacazette, whom they consider a replacement for Chilean Alexis Sanchez.

However, after seeing a £35m bid turned down for their target in the previous year, it is expected that the north London outfit will face some competition for his signature.
The attacker who will enter the final couple of years of his present deal, at the end of the current season, has already scored 26 times this term and there is no doubt that his price will be lowered at all.
A minimum bid of around £50m would surely be needed to lure him to the Emirates, though the Premier League giants might have to eventually end up triggering his £60m buy-out clause.

Arsene Wenger is a desperate man, as he looks to strengthen his front line and his team will face competition from fierce rivals Liverpool, who might want to sign him once they let Daniel Sturridge finally leave Anfield.

The battle could be intense with a lot of rumours going around at the moment and it will be indeed fun to watch Wenger go up against Klopp, in the upcoming transfer window.
