Breaking: So Is Arsenal Ready To Sign This Barcelona Wonder-kid?

It has been confirmed that the Gunners are showing heavy interest in young La Masia striker Pablo Moreno, who can be the signing of Arsenal for the long run. The French manager is well known for his association with the young stars of tomorrow, as he looks to build a team around them. Due to this, Arsenal boss has at times faced a lot of harsh criticism as well, though it seems that he is not really thinking of changing his ways any time soon and will now look to add this starlet to his squad at the Emirates, with a host of top signings under his belt already.

The young gun is regarded as a hot prospect for the future at the top level and he has already raked up 15 goals this season for Barcelona’s B team, which has got the attention of a lot of big clubs as of late.

Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo have already claimed that if the Catalans do not offer him a new deal, they might lose out on a promising talent to the hands of the Gunners.

The French manager on the other hand is really determined to get the Spanish U-16 international, Moreno is in his final year of the contract and he may be lured by the Premier League giants for better opportunities to showcase his talents.

Officials from Barcelona have already started talks with the player’s entourage over a possible new deal, as they do not wish to lose the star themselves and they will be hopeful that he stays for a long time at the club and grows into a top legend at the Nou Camp.

The Spanish giants last month snapped up young and promising talent Marcus McGuane from Arsenal’s youth academy and the Gunners would be determined to strike a low blow and secure the services of Pablo Moreno.
There is a lot of stiff competition amongst the top clubs, as they look to sign high quality players and challenge for the ultimate prize in European football, the Champions League, along with various other domestic competitions.

Arsenal are always known to snap up the best talent from La Masia, as they have previously done in the case of Spaniards Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin in more recent times.

Fàbregas is probably one of the many big names to have come out of the great La Masia. He jumped ships in the summer of 2003 and went on to win the FA Cup and was also a part of the Invincibles. He also made them reach the UEFA Champions league finals only to be knocked out by his boyhood club.

Bellerin too left the Blaugrana’s at a very young age of 16 and joined the Gunners and has ever cemented his place as a regular first team member. The 22 year old Spain international has featured 145 times for the Gunners.
The Gunners will be desperate to be a title challenger next season and will like to strengthen their squad at any cost.
