Eden Hazard’s Makes Yet Another Statement About His Future At Chelsea

The Blues talisman Eden Hazard has revealed that it would be no problem if a move to Real Madrid doesn’t materialize over the next few transfer windows. There have been constant links that are keeping Real Madrid interested in the hunt for the Belgian play-maker but has Hazard finally put those rumors to rest after his recent comments raised speculations once again?

Ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus in a £100m deal this summer, the Los Blancos have failed to find a suitable replacement for the Portuguese sensation. The 33 year old winger left the Santiago Bernabeu as the all-time top goalscorer for Real Madrid amassing 450 goals in nine seasons in the Spanish capital. Madrid are feeling the after effects of Ronaldo leaving the club as they have failed to score in their last four matches losing three of them as well. Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui is facing heavy criticism for not luring in any high quality attackers in the summer and is now under pressure. However, there is one man who is in line to replace Ronaldo at Madrid and it is none other than Eden Hazard.

The tricky winger has been sensational again this season and scoring eight times already giving Chelsea the push they need in order to be title contenders. The West London outfit is currently in second place on the Premier League table but joint top on points with Liverpool and Manchester City. Hazard has not publicly denied that he would not want to join Real Madrid stating that it would be a dream move if it came true. Chelsea will be hoping to tie down the attacker as Madrid are growing impatient every day by day eager to lure Hazard to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Just recently while speaking to Sky Sports, ahead of the clash against Manchester United this weekend, the 27 year old revealed news that all Chelsea fans would be delighted to hear. Hazard said that he would be content finishing off his career at Stamford Bridge and it he would not regret not moving to Real Madrid, “I can finish with Chelsea, no problem at all. I am very happy with this club, with the team, my family is happy here. So, if I do not go to Spain, it is not a problem. I love the fans — I think the fans love me! What happens in the future, I will be happy, so that is it.”

Hazard is currently on a deal that makes him £220,000 a week and his contract expires in 2020 but Chelsea are more than willing to offer him a bumper deal if he stays put at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are prepared to offer Hazard a staggering wages of £300,000 and upwards a week deal, in the next month or so in order to keep him happy at Chelsea. The Chelsea Player of the Month for September will look to add to his growing reputation with more titles under new boss Sarri, with a really positive start for him to the new campaign for him and his team.
