Gaffer Pavan Sardesai Acknowledges Confidence And Good Chemistry Amongst Players, Ahead Of Brothers FC’s Clash Against Tilakwadi XI

After the comfortable win over Zynaks FC last week in the opening game of the new campaign, it will be Brothers FC facing off against Tilakwadi XI in the second match of the season. The two teams will be facing off at the LELE ground, Tilakwadi, Belgaum at 4:15 PM IST on the 17th of January (Thursday), as three crucial points will be up for grabs in the fixture. Another high intensity fixture will be on display today and hopefully the crowds will be entertained by some good football once again.

Coach Pavan Sardesai will be hoping that his team can repeat more of the same from their last outing in this fixture as well, after an impressive result in the first game. It is important for both teams to build momentum.

Brothers FC will have the confidence at the back of an emphatic 4-0 win and here is what Mr. Sardesai had to say prior to this fixture, “First of all the team is getting into shape really well after quite a few very exhaustive training sessions.”

“After a thumping 4-0 victory in the first match, the confidence level of team has just rose to another level and I hope they will continue with the same momentum where they left off in the last match.”

He further went on to talk about the effect of these sessions and how the mentality has an impact on the overall play, “Team trained really well on the training ground. Now we have to wait and see how they implement those tactics on the pitch.”

“The team has a positive attitude and our strategy is to keep the clean sheet with attacking mindset..”

“Let’s wait and see what happens in tomorrow’s match…”

These were some really encouraging words from the coach once again and his formula in the first game clearly did its trick, as his team played a one-sided game and were clearly the better side on the pitch at both ends. Four goals and a clean-sheet in the first game, might be one of the best ways to start a campaign and the team will now surely want to build on this superb performance. Some of the attacking players like Taha Shaikh were really impressive in the opening fixture and hopefully can once again steal the shw. The skipper scoring a goal in the previous game would have also been a huge morale booster for him and he would be expected to be full charged for this one.

On the other hand, Tilakwadi XI (TFC) lost 5-0 to Nipani FA and will be looking for their first win of the tournament. It will not be easy for them, after a huge loss in the opener.

With respect to Brothers FC, the team have lived up to the expectation of the fans and the coach and the club faithful will be expecting nothing short of an emphatic win from their beloved side. We at Beyond The Posts will be once again cheering on the team that is one and only favourite to win again, Brothers FC. Cheers!!
