How Real Madrid Beat Barcelona 3-1 To Win The First Leg Of The Super Cup

Cristiano Ronaldo score’s a screamer and then was shown a red in a thrilling Super Cup match between the two side’s. The Galacticos beat the Catalans 3-1 in the first leg of the Supercopa de Espana. The Portuguese international scored a stunner to take the lead for his side and was then sent off for a dive which means he’ll miss the second leg.

The 32 year old star started in the bench for Real Madrid and when he came on for his side he made diffrence as he scored in the 80th minute to give real madrid the lead but he was shown a his second yellow of the game as he made a dive to the ground in the penalty area just two minutes after scoring and was sent off.

New Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde put on Denis Suarez in the 59th minute replacing Deulofeu and this move almost paid off for the catalans as the midfielder took the corner and found Luiz Suarez but Navas made a brilliant save preventing the Blaugrana from a equaliser.

Cristiano Ronaldo came on in 58th minute and replaced Karim Benzema and took shot which was blocked from Pique and then went to score a goal only for the official to raise the flag and deem him offside.

The Euro Cup winner then took advantage of his chance to intiate a counter from Isco and took his chances by shoting from 20 yard into the top right corner and make it 2-1.

The Portuguese then removed his shirt for no reason to celebrate and was booked for the first time in match and then made a dive in penalty area but the referee was in mood of buying it and showed him the second yellow and told him to march off the field, He will miss the second leg.

But this did not let Madrid to get off the rail as Marcos Asensio finshed off a brilliant chance from the edge of the area to make it 3-1.
