Chennai Super Kings management opted to drop him from eleven even if he bagged four-wickets form two games for his team in this season of IPL. Chennai management opted for Sam Curran due to his batting ability in last overs and Dwayne Bravo for his excellent death bowling abilities for overseas spots in the team.
He didn’t play IPL 2019 as he was injured. This was though he played seven games for Chennai in IPL 2018. The attacking bowler snared 11 wickets with a remarkable economy rate of six runs per over.
Ngidi is considered a special talent in the cricket world. He bagged 53 wickets in just 26 ODI games. These stats for the Proteas is impressive. He also snared 24 wickets in 13 T20I matches. His team, Chennai Super Kings won just two games and lost four in this season of IPL.

What Next For CSK And MS Dhoni?
CSK has been very inconsistent this season. They will want to improve on that. Hopefully, things get better for them in the days to come. They are a top side on their day, as they proved in the match against KXIP. The only thing is that their top-order needs to fire and the middle order needs to support. Whether that actually happens or not, only time will tell.
