In the high-voltage faceoff between defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB), there were some intense moments between players of two opponents teams. MI all-rounder Hardik Pandya and RCB all-rounder Chris Morris exchanged some words in the last stage of the match whereas RCB skipper Virat Kohli and MI batsman Suryakumar Yadav also had one tense moment between them.

In the same match, Surya Kumar Yadav smashed unbeaten knock of 79 runs off just 43 balls to help his team to win the game after Royal Challengers Bangalore set the target of 165 runs by brilliant batting display by young openers Devdutt Padikkal and Joshua Philippe.

Padikkal smacked 74 runs off just 45 balls comprising with 12 fours and one six. Wicket-keeper batsman Joshua Philippe scored 33 runs off 24 balls comprising with four boundaries and one six. MI pacer Jasprit Bumrah bagged three wickets to stop RCB at an ordinary total of 164 runs from 20 overs. From RCB, pacer Mohammed Siraj and leggie Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets each.
