The stage is set in Moscow for Croatia to take on France in the final of the FIFA World Cup 2018, with both teams looking to win the title. The European duo has fought really hard to reach this far and will not want to lose out on the chance to add their names in the history books, as they look to lift Football’s biggest trophy.

Zlatko Dalic’s side are being considered the “underdogs” by many, though they have managed to get the job done so far in the competition. On the other hand, Didier Deschamps’ side looks really strong and are the team to beat. If their rivals do put on a solid show, only then will they have a chance to pose a threat to the mighty French. Otherwise, it could be a one sided game.

The road to the World Cup final has not been an easy one, with the two teams overcoming some major obstacles, though it will now depend on this one last match, as to which teams takes home all the glory and which one goes back empty handed.

Belgium has already finished in third spot and England as fourth, though the main game that the fans have been waiting for is now. A lot of big players will be on the pitch and will be expected to make a major impact in the match.

Whether or not they will be able to do so, only time will tell. Till then take part in our small poll and predict the scoreline of tomorrow’s game.

This is how the game ended, when the two teams met in the World Cup in 1998, where it was the hosts that made a superb comeback to snatch the match. Below is the link of the highlights of the game. Do watch if you wish to see who the hero of the game was back then, you will be shocked.

It was not an easy game by any stretch of imagination and was totally worth the time and money. Hopefully, the same is the case with the game today and the two teams can actually put up a show, that remains in the minds of the fans for a long-long time.

Some of the previous games in which Croatia has been involved in, have been rather boring and the fans will be hoping that it can change now.

Some of the key players to watch out from the match

France-

1. Antoine Griezmann

The skipper obviously plays a vital role in such a big game and will be expected to guide his team to a win in the most crucial game of his international career so far.

2. Kylian Mbappe

One of the best young talents from the competition, now needs to deliver one last time. He has been rather disappointing in the last couple of games and will now want to change that.

3. Raphael Varane

Though his job mainly is to keep the opposition attacks out, the Real Madrid attacker has looked a big threat in front of the opposition goal too and has scored at some crucial points.

Croatia-

1. Luka Modric

Once again the skipper and one of the best players that his team has. Takes free-kicks, penalties and is actively involved in most of the set-plays, which make his a key player to watch out for.

2. Ivan Perisic

Left his mark in the semis with a superbly taken equalizing goal and is already wanted by a host of top European clubs and should not be taken lightly.

3. Mario Mandzukic

Scored the winner against England and will want to do more of the same, though his fitness can be an issue for the team.
