Superstar Wanted A Move To Real Madrid, But May Sign With Chelsea Now

How This Transfer Saga Eventually Played Out-

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea side has been given a huge boost towards extending a contract for star player Eden Hazard. The Blues have managed to secure a deal for the winger’s younger brother Kylian Hazard, who will be the third of the Hazard brother’s to play for Chelsea after Eden and Thorgan.

Chelsea managed to sign Eden Hazard because of a family matter. The club also recruited his younger brother Thorgan as a necessity for Eden to join the club. And their latest signing is Kylian Hazard, who joined the London outfit from Hungarian club Ujpest.

The 22 year old attacking midfielder will not be joining Conte’s senior side, where he would play with his elder brother Eden; rather Kylian will be playing his football with the development squad at Chelsea. Kylian Hazard made 42 appearances in two seasons for Ujpest before making the move to Chelsea just before the transfer window.

However, after Thorgan Hazard moved to German club Borussia Monchengladbach in 2015, Eden Hazard was the only member of the Hazard family at Chelsea. But now, the signing of Kylian Hazard will be a big boost for Chelsea to keep Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian international has been linked with a move away from Chelsea with European champions Real Madrid potentially interested in signing Eden Hazard. The Los Blancos boss, Zinedine Zidane has publicly stated his affection for Eden Hazard who is now into his sixth Premier League campaign with the Champions of England.

Eden Hazard has been phenomenal since joining the Blues making 249 appearances scoring 72 times and racking up 62 assists. Hazard was a key member of the Chelsea squad when they won the Premier League last season, including that, he has won four major titles with the club.

Eden Hazard is just 26 years old, yet to reach his prime, which is why Chelsea is so desperately keen on holding onto their superstar. The attacker has pace, dribbling skills and is often compared to the best players in the world.

Having signed Kylian Hazard could possibly be a big step for Chelsea to commit Hazard’s future at the club. The Premier League champions can now use Hazard’s family as a way of keeping him at the club.

Hazard has not made an appearance for Chelsea this season as he nurses an ankle injury, but national and club goal-keeper has mentioned that only Hazard should decide when he is fit to return to action.

The Game Against Leicester City-

The reigning champions of England will face off against the former champs at the KP Stadium this weekend and will want to take back three points from this game as well. After a mixed start, Chelsea are back in the hunt to take the top spot in the points table and will look to challenge Manchester United for supremacy, with another confident win in the upcoming fixture.
