Top Five Strikers In England At The Moment

There are a lot of high-quality players that feature in the top flight of English football, with some of the big guns representing the various Premier League giants.
A lot of money is spent in the transfer windows to acquire high-quality players, in order to win more titles every year. Due to this, some of the world’s best players
play in England at the moment.

The transfer window is open and all the big clubs are trying their best to sign as many players as possible, in order to fill the voids within their squads.

With that said and done, here are the top five strikers in the Premier League at the moment:

5. Diego Costa (Chelsea):

It was not the best season for Chelsea last term and though the Spanish international is not the favorite of many fans of the Blues’ rival clubs, he does his job for
his manager. Costa helped Mourinho win the Premier League and League Cup double in the 2014-15 season, along with his team-mates. He not only scores goals consistently
but also sets up quite a few for his team-mates as well. His physical presence is a threat to any defense and though he was not selected for the Euro 2016 tournament, the
attacker still has the reputation of being one of the best in the world at the moment.

4. Romelu Lukaku (Everton):

Another top striker who is a well-reputed player is Lukaku who plays for Everton and the Belgian national side. He has made a name for himself since leaving Chelsea and
moving to Goodison Park but is now all set to leave the Merseyside club. He has proven to be a huge asset for the Toffees and will be a superb addition for any side.
A good strong player with a well-built physique and a renowned goalscorer, at the age of just 23, has a bright future ahead of him still if he can find the right sort
of club and manager soon.

3. Harry Kane (Tottenham):

The England international has really made a name for himself in the past few seasons and is a quick attacking player, who can really finish off goals for a living. He was the
top scorer in the Premier League last season and is one of the very best in the world at the moment. Though he failed to make a major impact in the Euros, there is no
doubt about Kane’s quality, which will be a huge asset for Spurs in the seasons to come.

2. Jamie Vardy (Leicester City):

Vardy

Leicester City’s goal-scoring machine Jamie Vardy is also one of the top players in England at the moment, in the list of strikers. The attacker broke Ruud van Nistelrooy’s
record of most consecutive goals in consecutive games in a season and helped the Foxes shockingly win the league title. He has gone on to impress for the Three Lions
as well and has a bright future ahead of him still. Vardy was wanted by a host of clubs including Arsenal this summer, though he has now decided to remain at the KP
Stadium for the upcoming campaign.

1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United):

The man they say has no comparison with. The striker who broke the record for the maximum number of goals in a single Ligue 1 season for champions Paris Saint-Germain
last term. He has been a success all over Europe winning title after title, season after season. Surely one of the best players in England at the moment and Jose
Mourinho has made a smart choice of signing him at Manchester United. A pure goal scorer and will give the Red Devils a much-needed boost that they need to challenge for
titles this season.
