Tottenham And Manchester United Both Trying To Sign Marcelo Brozovic

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have both been given the option to sign Marcelo Brozovic, the Inter Milan midfielder who has been released, for nothing next summer.

The report from Inter Live claims that Premier League heavyweights Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have been given a rare chance to sign Inter Milan player Marcelo Brozovic. The Croatian international is in the last few months of his deal with the San Siro, which expires in December. According to the current situation, efforts to prolong his stay have come to a grinding halt. This provides clubs interested in signing the 28-year-old with a chance to do so.

Brozovic has been a member of the Inter team since 2015 and is now an important element of the Nerazzurri’s starting lineup. He was a key member of Antonio Conte’s championship-winning squad last season and has continued to shine under his replacement, Simone Inzaghi. Inter are looking to sign long-term contracts with their finest players after the departure of a number of key players during the previous summer transfer window.

However, although Lautaro Martinez has agreed to terms on a new contract, the same cannot be said about Brozovic. His pay demands amount to €6 million each season from a deal that he is currently on at the club. Inter, on the other hand, are hesitant to fulfil it and are looking to settle somewhere in the area of €5 million every year. With the stalemate still in place, it remains to be seen who will be the first to blink.

A two-way player with the ability to contribute in both offensive and defensive situations, Brozovic excels at settling the game in the centre of the park and making passes that may assist control the game. With an eye for piercing through balls and a powerful shot in his boots, he’s a force to be reckoned with. He also happens to be at the peak of his professional career at the age of 28.

Both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are in desperate need of a player who can assist them in winning the midfield fight. When it comes to attacking, the Red Devils are unstoppable, but they need a strong captain in the middle of the field who can help them maintain their form.

The performance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team against Tottenham at the weekend was encouraging, despite the fact that they were, strangely, unable to have any effect in the centre of the field. The defeat to Liverpool demonstrated how vulnerable their midfield is, and they would be wise to add a player with the characteristics of Brozovic to their squad.

The irony is that Tottenham might be the one to deliver a sucker blow when it comes to securing the services of the Croatian. Due to the fact that Antonio Conte is now in control at the Lane, the Lilywhites may have an edge in the transfer market. Partnering the Croatian with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg might provide them with a midfield nucleus around which they can develop their squad.

The Italian strategist is already familiar with how to get the most out of the midfielder and might use this knowledge to his advantage in the Premier League. Adding Brozovic to the mix would be a good addition for Spurs, who have a number of voids on their roster. The 52-year-old clearly keeps an eye on his former co-stars and collaborators.

When a player of Brozovic’s abilities becomes available on the market, especially for a low cost, it is a rare occurrence. It remains to be seen who will come out on top in the battle to land him.
