Watch: ICC Trolls Pakistani Batsman; Twitter Turns Into A Warzone

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday posted two pictures in comparison, one – a cropped picture showing Hasan Ali posing a gracious pull shot and the other one – a complete picture showing Hasan Ali playing the shot while the ball had knocked away his middle stump.

The Troll By ICC That Went Viral And Started A Twitter Fight Between Pakistani And Indian Fans

The ICC seemed like it was caught in a fix when it’s a meme about Pakistani bowler Hasan Ali didn’t do well with the fans. Normally, a particular user crops his/her picture in a way it is beautified and uses it for the profile picture. This time ICC took over Twitter, posted a cropped picture of Hasan Ali that shows the player posing a shot while the real picture shows him playing the shot while the ball had already uprooted his middle stump.

However, as soon as ICC posted the meme, users all over the globe reacted, the Pakistani supporters accusing ICC of purposely making fun of Pakistan and not in a good way. Their arch-rivals Indians on the other hand just added more spice to the conversation by laughing and teasing. In short, the tweet eventually became a battlefield.

Some Of The Reactions To The Troll By ICC Are As Follows-

Pakistan was 27/4

The second day Pakistan come back strong

But ICC how can I go against because we can not have reason

Then ICC think that is the idea

1.4 billion people money matter babo bhiya ????

Some of them also fired back on India reminding them of the humiliating 36 all out at Adelaide.

Yasir shah scored 38 not out on number 11.

LOL better than #36_allout ?

However, the popular belief again projected the ICC as a council heavily in favour of India aka BCCI. Some Twitter users went to an extent to say that Indians have been running the page.

“Since when did ICC hire the Indian trolls to run their page? Paisay kharch kar kay professional hire karlo ya in sastay whatsapp memes ke liye page ka naam change karlo.?”

South Africa to miss Kagiso Rabada in first Test against Sri Lanka | Icc – Gulf News

It Was A Special Moment For Kagiso Rabada, But The Fans Were Busy Trolling

Pakistan and South Africa have been engaging in a Test series, marking the return of cricket to Pakistan post the COVID-19 pandemic. After bowling out South Africa for 220 runs in the first innings, the home team was reduced to 27/4 with Kagiso Rabada wrecking their top order. However, Pakistan fought back with Fawad Alam scoring a century, Azhar Ali and Faheem Ashraf getting half-centuries each. Their lower order also showed some resistance to post a comfortable 378 run total.

However, this trend picked up on Social Media as many users took on the trend and posted many such pictures. However, the moment would have been so special for Kagiso Rabada and it got lost in this battle of the fans. We at Beyond The Posts congratulate the Proteas pacer for his brilliance on the cricketing pitch. Cheers to Rabada. See you at the IPL soon!!
