Real Madrid’s Isco Takes His Final Decision On A Move Away From The Bernabeu

Real Madrid midfielder Isco has now confirmed that he will be staying at the Bernabeu this season, after rejecting a late approach from north London outfit Tottenham Hotspur, who were trying their best to push through a long move to White Hart Lane this season. The 24-year-old attacker has already seen himself fall down the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane, who has the likes of James Rodriguez, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez and Mateo Kovacic all now ahead of him in the roster.

The competition at Madrid is quite tough and the Spain international has not been really able to cope with it so far.

The Spaniard had previously rejected an offer from Manchester City to complete his move to Madrid instead in a deal worth £23m back in 2013 and though he is part of the first team at the Bernabeu at the moment, he remains a mercurial talent and will look to fight for a place in the starting eleven.

Tottenham had hoped to sign the attacking midfielder on a 12-month loan deal and were keeping the Spaniard away from his former club, Malaga, though both clubs eventually had to go home empty handed now.

However, the attacker has himself confirmed today to Spanish television that he will stay with the European Champions this season and is going nowhere any time soon, despite all the speculations going around.

‘I’m staying, I’m staying,’ Isco told reporters at a media event at the Bernabeu, when asked about his future with the reigning champions of Europe.
