The Spanish football pundit reckons that PSG and Arsenal could make a stunning deal for Alexis Sanchez over the summer which could see the Chilean superstar playing for Paris next season. And the Arsenal faithful will be losing sleep knowing that they could potentially lose their key man at the end of the season.
There has been a lot of interest from Europe’s most elite clubs over Sanchez as his performances and form have caught the eye of many and Balague believes that PSG could be a possible destination for the forward.
Balague was quoted saying, “I can imagine Paris St-Germain looking for that kind of player. This would be for the summer window but he is on the list of players PSG are interested in.”
“I haven’t heard that negotiations have started though.” added Balague. With Arsenal trio Francis Coquelin, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny all signing new deals with the Gunners this week, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has claimed that every player will have to live within the Emirates wage structure.
Sanchez was reportedly seen frustrated at his team-mates when Arsenal were losing 3-0 to Bournemouth, however, the game ended 3-3 and Sanchez was apparently blanked out his colleagues in the dressing room which led to speculation aver his future at the London club.
The 28 year old has been in supreme form this season scoring 13 goals and adding 7 assists to his name which has helped his side to 5th in the Premier League table. The Arsenal fans though will hope he could display some of the amazing form he is on when their side take on Swansea at the Liberty stadium on Saturday.
