Chelsea And Manchester United Keen To Sign Striker Duo, As Season Draws To A Close

The two young forwards are probably the most exciting prospects in world football and there are many clubs that are looking to secure their services however it will be interesting to see where they land up in the coming transfer window. With the future of Diego Costa looking uncertain at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte may have to look into the market for a top forward, and who better than Everton centre forward Romelu Lukaku to fill in the Spaniard’s boots.

He is the first on the wish-list for Conte who is also targeting Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, who has barely featured playing second fiddle to Karim Benzema at Madrid.

Even Jose Mourinho is looking at the two possible strike options and will go head to head with Conte in a race to sign a replacement for Swedish front-man Zlatan Ibrahimovic. At 35, the big man still delivers but has lacked pace and Mourinho will be looking to add that extra speed in his attacks next season by bringing in a fast moving player.

Lukaku has been in sublime form for Everton with the Belgian scoring 24 times in 34 Premier League appearances and has clearly stated that he will not sign a new contract with the Toffees.

On the other hand, Alvaro Morata is not able to get too much game time and may want to move to another club as despite Zinedine Zindane stating he is a key squad player. However, a move could be on the cards as Mourinho has been interested in signing Morata since his days in Juventus.
